Made all out ADR's for our August trip, however I just heard a new restaurant "The Wave" at the Contemporary will be opening in June. Has anyone heard anything about this yet? Have you seen a menu up for it anywhere. Seems interesting but not sure I wanna to change any of my ADR's until I see a menu.

The restaurant, a casual dining table service restaurant that features American cooking blended with world flavors, will offer a classic American breakfast, a quick and casual lunch, and dinner. In addition, the stylish contemporary lounge will offer new world wines with a twist and trendy cocktails with natural flavors. The restaurant will accept one entitlement from the Disney Dining Plan and will honor the DVC, Passholder, Disney Dining Experience, and Cast Member discounts as currently accepted at Concourse Steakhouse.

Since The Wave is opening in June and your not going until August, maybe you can wait for some reviews to decide if you really want to eat there.

Though I had already made all my ADR's for our October trip, we decided to add The Wave. We had an opening for lunch one day on our trip so I called today and got a 1:30 lunch reservation. The CM on the phone asked me, "Are you a cast member?" I said no and she said, "Wow...how did you hear about this already then??"

Honestly, I am not at all impressed by the menu, but I have to just assume that this is just a teaser menu and there will be a lot of additions and changes made before it opens. Besides, my fiance and I want to try it just because it's new.

I agree with you about that because I can't see that being the final menu when it opens.

The menu looks gooooddd... It seems so fresh! Those mickey waffles... yummo! I can't wait to see what the finalized menu is. So many desserts!

So, how do the mini-desserts work? Do you get just one? And just how mini are they?

I would suppose you get the three listed under each category. As for their sizes, nobody can say. I'm sure this isn't the "final" menu, it does say "subject to change". And there are no appetizers listed, you'll notice.
