I just saw that too. :sad2: Oh well, I ordered them anyway and they will be a nice surprise when they actually show up at my door :thumbsup2 I may also see if I can find them someplace else and just cancel the backorder on amazon.

Amazon is overstating the time it'll take them to come back in stock. When I ordered on Saturday I had an expected delivery date of mid March. Today I got a shipping confirmation.

I got them from Atomic Books dot com

Thanks!! I found a couple other online places and it looks like most sell them in the $32 - $35 range. So the current Amazon price is right in there. I almost ordered it from another site but decided to just wait for Amazon. Otherwise I will start reading them now and I want to save them to keep me busy between seasons :thumbsup2

They all have a virus that activates when they die. It's not killing them off on its own. Wouldn't it be more practical to help them survive as long as they could, keeping that virus at bay, instead of thinking it would be better if they were gone just because dealing with diapers and baby formula is hard? The point is survival, not letting people die just to make things easier.

To be honest, Lizzie is more of a problem than Judith is.

I tend to agree. I don't see people dying off just from the virus. They all have it and it doesn't affect them until they die (or get bit by a zombie). So if they can find a way to eliminate all the current zombies and then control what happens to people when they die in the future, they can survive (and possibly be cured).

And on a lighter note

LOL - love it skylizard!!!

I got both books from the library. If they do not have them in stock, they will order them for your from another library branch. The books are a very quick read.

Book One is back in stock on Amazon already. :cool1: I have a Delivery notification for next week. Luckily it is the first one and not the second one. That would really kill me to have book two staring at me while I wait for book one :rotfl2:

I'm starting to think maybe Carol might, if it comes to that.

In the comics (and I don't want to spoil anything, so I'm trying to be careful), it was Rick and Abraham who had to deal with what do with their, um...problem child. I have a funny feeling that it might be Carol who settles it here.

OMG - I was thinking the same thing after watching that eps. It does seem like they are going the Ben & Billy route and the way they are setting it up I can see them having Carol deal with it instead of who had to in the comics.

The human race will die out anyways, they all have the virus. I would think Judith would have it also from Lori. There will not be a good ending for any of them and watching the kids go down ain't my thing..I almost flipped of the TV with Judith.

Not necessarily, they have a virus that converts them after they die but that doesn't mean it can't be cured or controlled. It doesn't mean you're going to go to sleep one day and wake up in the morning as a zombie. I don't want to watch kids "go down" either, I cried with Sophia and wasn't thrilled with the other little girl getting bit either, I'm totally blanking on her name, the one with the Governor.....Just because I think it realism to the show doesn't mean I enjoy watching children being zombies. lol

I totally think it will be Carol....... I don't envy her and I don't want to watch that either. Even if she is evil. lol

I wish I had been talking through Mindy Kalings mouth on TTD. She doesn't know who Jeff Kober is?!?!?!

Gah!

I fell in love with him as Dodger on China Beach, and then was afraid of him in every roll I've seen him in since. He's so good at being bad/scary. He's the harbinger of evil on TWD. No doubt.

DH told me there's going to be another major death. I predicted who I think it is before he said a thing to me. The one who looks beyond survival and at what humanity "should be", always gets it.

.

I loved him in China Beach as well, and recognized him immediately.

OMG the actor who plays Rick was soooooooo good last night! I was a wreck! The way he was shaking and his wild eyes when the men were in the room. Add to that how rough he looks from his fight with the Gov. Wow.

I also love the bond developing with Carl and Michonne.

Hey, did they trick us with last weeks preview? I could have sworn when they showed Michonne looking at the slashed painting there was banging behind the door when she was approaching it. Last night I did not hear any banging or thumping when she was going to the door.

Anyone else also a fan of The Talking Dead???

On the preview, I can't believe where they hid. To me that could be a death trap!!! I know it was dark and all, but I would have taken my chances running down the road!!!

Anniemae, I agree. Andrew Lincoln did an outstanding job on last nights episode!!

We watch the Talking Dead, but not till Monday, because my dd likes to get to bed after The Walking Dead. So, tonight I will have a comment on that LOL.

I watched half of it through my blanket I was so scared.

Me too! I was so nervous for Rick.

I was finally able to watch an episode of the Talking Dead right after and was pretty disappointed. I thought that Mindy girl was boring and didn't seem all that interested in the show. The guy that plays Abraham was pretty cool.

For next week's episode, I'm confused with the timing. I know Carol, Tyreese and the girls are all heading towards sanctuary, right? Did Beth/Daryl come upon the train tracks before or after Carol/Tyreese?

Yeah, we expected a lot more of Mindy Kaling too, she was very blah. I did enjoy Michael Cudlitz. But next week we get Norman on the couch!!!!

Yes, Carol and crew are heading towards Terminus. Beth and Daryl were there after, everywhere they went was after Tyrese and the girls had been there, even though they showed them first. I rewatched that episode and it became a lot more clear the 2nd time around.
I however, have no clue where the heck Maggie and crew are now, in relation to everyone else.

Good. So we're hoping that Daryl being the good tracker that he is will eventually meet up with them (hopefully).

I do think Daryl and Beth may have headed a different direction down the tracks though. It looked like Tyrese and Carol turned around and headed away from the guy who had just been bitten and the walker pile, and that Daryl and Beth walked past them, or at least Daryl did before Beth started crying. I am not sure if they showed them again after she was crying.
