The Walking Dead on AMC

Agree with props to anyone taking care of a baby! She was scaring me last night, I'm like, geez, stop crying, etc. Can you imagine??

The bus was shot at multiple times when it was driving away. Steven Yuen (Glenn) also mentioned that in an interview. I am assuming that someone or many on the bus were shot and died eventually turning them into walkers. Everyone on the bus was weak, sick and/or old so they probably were not able to fend off the walker.

My daughter was screaming at the TV, don't kill Judith, don't kill Judith!!!! That Lizzie is definitely a psycho!!! :sad2:

I wish there was more Darryl and Beth. I think they should have added one of the groups on to last weeks episode so each group this week would of had more screen time. I was waiting for Darryl to comfort Beth and a hug and kiss to happen.

Looking forward to the new story line with Abraham, Rosita and Eugene

Good point, the bus was riddled with bullet holes. So that could have turned multiple people into walkers quickly.

Norman Reedus posted somewhere yesterday that Daryl and Beth are getting to know things about each other, but NOT ROMANTICALLY. He stated that in all caps LOL.

I haven't read the comics, these new people are good people?

This is what I had thought happened...the bus was under heavy fire as it left the prison.

At the time I had thought to myself "oh no most of them will have been killed" but then never even thought of them turning while on the bus, makes total sense though

I know it will probably never happen because a lot of people are against the age difference but I can only hope. Darryl needs a love interest and I don't want it to be Carol. Maybe someone in the new group.

Certainly makes it looks as if Carol really didn't kill the people in the prison.

Yep, after we saw the rabbits, DH and I both said that Lizzie had to be the one that killed the people in the prison. I do think Carol is taking the fall for her, protecting her. And I think she arrived just in time to save Judith also (thank goodness). But I also wonder if she has been watching over the prison all this time and followed the kids when they left. I don't think she just magically appeared. I think she has been there all along, just hiding.

This is what I didnt understand....if the bus ran out of gas or broke down why didnt they get off and start walking somewhere????

Weren't some of them still sick?

I think it was either that someone was still very ill (Even Glenn was still very weak) or that someone was shot as they were driving away. But I do think it had to be more than one walker inside, otherwise some people would have been able to get off the bus when the attack started. I don't see how they all would have just sat there and allowed themselves to be bitten.

I don't think anyone was still sick at that point. They had the antibiotics and Herschel was treating all the sick before he was capture by the Gov. They were weak and recovering, but not under the influence of the virus anymore. Those who died from the virus died in the prison before the you-know-what hit the fan. I remember the big fight when a bunch of the infected turned and Lizzie killed one by luring it away and Herchel almost died fighting one. Then Glen almost died, but they got the medicine and were treated. Even if one did turn in the bus, they could have opened the door and ran out.

I just found it odd that they were all in the bus dead. Like another poster said, if they ran out of gas, they would have scattered in the woods. There were no walkers around the bus, so it's not like they were attacked, the bus was buttoned up tight and everyone was just inside. No crash or accident, no breach, just looked like the bus stopped and they all died. If anyone wanted out, they could have ran out, instead they were all just in the bus. I hope they explain what happened to them.

Yep, exactly. If it was just one walker inside, then some should have been able to get off the bus. Strange....

Daryl really looked defeated in this episode. After losing his brother, losing Carol (or so he thought) and then losing their home at the prison, I think he is just done caring about anything. Hopefully his time with Beth will help bring him around.

I really enjoyed this episode after being a bit disappointed with last weeks. Although they added a spoiler on their own by putting Melissa McBride's name in the opening credits. So I knew as it was just starting that she was coming back.

I don't really think there was a whole lot of time that passed between Rick returning without Carol and the governors attack was there? Just a few days? It seemed so much longer because of the two governor only episodes, but those took place in the past, before the Rick/Carol episode. I think if she was there all along, she would have jumped in to help fight.

I don't think they ever took her name out of the opening credits.

In the preview they showed at the end of Talking Dead...Michonne is looking at a piece of art (that is a bloody morbid piece) and then she slowly walks to a door. I am dying to know what that's about. I wonder if it's another one of her hybrid/blended flashback things (like the one you all thought was a Bounty commercial). I hope that door doesn't open to her dead baby boy.

We were guessing there is someone alive, hiding in there.

Was it pre-apocalypse Michonne or post-apocalypse Michonne? I was half asleep when I watched it.

We thought it was post. The house that Rick and Carl were in and that they were maybe making it honey to try to stay awhile. And it must have been post because she has her katana on her back.

It is hard to remember how much time had passed. Long enough for them to administer the medication to sick people and then for Hershal to be captured by the Gov., etc. It is hard to tell, but wasn't Rick back before the group with the medication? And add in the winter hiatus and it seems like forever :rotfl2:

I'm not sure she would have jumped in on the fight though, considering the way she was banished. But I have no doubt she would have been watching over the kids to make sure they got out (and would have jumped in to help them at the prison, if needed). LOL - just my theory though...and when it comes to this show, very rarely are my theories correct :lmao:

I know her name was still in the opening credits for last season, but since we are in a new season, it should have been removed it she wasn't coming back. I'm sure it was assumed all along that she would be though. It was just seeing it in there as the episode started took some of the surprise factor away for me.

Oh, I haven't watched the rest of Talking Dead yet. I'll have to watch it this evening.....

Actually this season is the first time she has been listed as a regular cast member in the opening credits. She was still also starring/guest starring status last season. It annoyed the heck out of me.

Does anyone who read the comics know anything about these 3 new folks? Friends or foe's?

If you want to know, my DH says Abraham is like a tougher Tyrese. He can kick ***. It doesn't sound like they are bad guys though. We'll have to see what the show does with them.

I know she is english in real life and on the show has a slight southern accent (both her and Hershel had slight accents but not Beth :confused3 ) but did anyone else notice how very pronounced and "thick" her Georgian accent was on last night's episode? I had to rewind and watch it again because I was like "WTH?!"

When carol appeared before Tyreese, she realized that rick hadn't told Tyreese about her supposedly killing those two people. Tyreese was happy and relieved to see her so she had to come up with a cover story as to why she wasn't at the prison.
Carol told Tyreese that when her and Rick went out for the supply run, rick headed back as soon as he found meds and she stayed to look for more supplies. By the time she got back to the prison , the attack had just finished up and she saw the two little girls running away. She followed them and that's how she was able to finally meet up with them.
Like i said way back when the killings first happened, Lizzie had something to do with it. The bloody print on the door was way too low to be carols.
And as soon as I saw Judith in Tyreese's arms I said to my husband "I told you so" there was just no reason her car seat would've been unbuckled without someone grabbing her to run away.
I just wish there were fewer commercials during the episodes. I watched downton abbey before this and this seemed to fly by so fast.

We thought it was the beginning of the apocalypse because Michonne's shirt was nice and clean and she did not look like she went through hell. So after the sh*t hit the fan but before she met Rick and the gang

YES! I commented on the same thing. I think Maggie's accent was more pronounced last night, but there was a much bigger contrast because we heard Beth talk a lot more with the journal voice-overs. Beth usually doesn't have a lot of dialogue, so it was more noticeable that their accents are very different for sisters who grew up together.

Could the preview be when Michonne found Andrea? I don't remember where that was. All I remember was that Andrea was sick.
