The walking dead amc #2

Most of the TV shows have aired their final episodes until January. I think WD does the same and will be back sometime in January.

The preview said 2 episodes left this year, until their mid-season break. TWD always takes a break during the NFL's post season and resumes the week after the Super Bowl which will be early February. That means after next week's episode, the week after will be the mid-season finale. I was just reflecting that to me, not much has happened in the first half of the season.

So they are in the comics. I thought someone up thread said they weren't. Either way, bringing another group into the mix should be interesting, at least I hope so ;)

They are in the comics, but the way they have been introduced in the show is very different and much earlier than when they are introduced in the comics. Perhaps the PP who said they weren't hasn't gotten that far in the comics yet.

I have read from Negan's Lucille killing all the way to the end and didn't see this Oceanside all girl group. Michonne meets Rick at a port, I think called Oceanside.... won't say anymore but there's not an all girl group living in an oceanfront camp in the comics.

Oceanside wasn't an all female community in the comics. It comes in around issue 140ish, according to my brother who's further along than me.

I will post comic info in spoiler button...
Years later, after all the fighting dealings with Negan, Michonne went off on boat with some people to get stuff and came back for a stop to meet Rick at a port and trade stuff with him. Michonne and Rick are not a couple in comics. Port is called Oceanside. Michonne does this, pirate life, because she believes she should only work hard and not be free to pursue happiness due to her backstory. Wonder if they will just have Tara take this story line on??? At any rate, this is a bit of a deviation from the comics. So Much so that I didn't even make the correlation.

I meant to ask this, who do you think were the "bridge people". There was obviously some group who decided to try to camp there. Do you think it's possible it's the Oceanside people's former camp or could it be just a random group we'll never find out about?

So, what is everyone thinking about Tara? Should she have kept the oceanside people a secret? All their guns?

My DH and I were glad she didn't say anything.

I thought they said the Saviors had killed all the men.

They did. I was wondering if that's where all the Oceanside members were, including the men, before the Saviors got to them. Remember Beatrice (I think that's her name) told Tara once all the men were killed they ran and that's how they found the Oceanside Resort.

I'm glad she didn't say anything either. Hopefully it will come back to help them and not hurt them like every other good deed has done.

But I would think that if they were trying to hide from the saviors that they would have chosen to have gone farther. I think they said it was only a couple hours walk back to the bridge. If that was their original encampment, then their current location doesn't seem that far away.

If I'm running and hiding from the group of people that killed all or our men, over the age of 11, a couple hours just doesn't seem far enough.

I'm thinking that, hopefully, if Negan does not know these people are still around and armed, it would keep him and his group from wiping them out and taking all their guns. Maybe they can group up with the others since they have guns and Rick's group doesn't and form a helluva force.

True, but they said they picked Oceanside because it is hidden, granted Tara found it, but that was purely by accident. The bridge may also be the only way to get to Oceanside, which is pretty barricaded. For Negan to get there they would have to go on foot, they wouldn't be able to really take anything from them without their trucks. So maybe Negan and his men just don't bother to see what is on the other side of the bridge figuring it's not worth the effort???

May have been asked already but can't find it and found it very odd....

On the bridge, as Tara and Heath get separated by sand walkers, I just found it really odd that as Heath's getting "pushed" away by all the walkers through the "curtains" that in amongst the herd of "sand walkers" there was a short one with a blonde bob haircut that looked she was walking normally after him. I kept thinking "who is the blonde?"

Anyone else find this odd placement? So random, all those sand walkers and in the middle this one who didn't even appear from the back as a Walker, just weird

i'm so excited to watch walking dead tonight......

just hope it's a good one and not one to put me to sleep like last weeks episode.

Hmmm, no opinions on tonight's show?!

I can totally see Carl falling in line with Negan, he has always wanted his dad to do more and Negan will do whatever it takes.

Just gave me chills when Negan was cuddling Judith. Who the heck was looking after her with Rick, Michonne, Carl and Carol all being away from Alexandria at the same time?!

I really, really do not like or trust Spencer at all
