Good Morning guys!

We are getting some rooms painted in our house (hasn't been done for 15 years and really needed it). I can't wait to see the results.

We chose:

Living/Play Room: Blue and Purple to match the dining room

Kitchen: White and Jolly Green

Family Room: Sage Green and Tan

Nursery: Light Blue and Dark Blue (we're hoping to do an ocean or jungle-water scene or a pond with turtles/frogs. We're make it more feminine or masculine once we find out what we're having)

LeeLee,

I see you had a few emotional days, so this is for you, too
Thank You!

Can't wait to see it! You will post some picks right???!!
I love water scenes!! We are wanting to have one done in Tylers room. His room is done in Fishing and it's so cute. A water Mural will set it off. My Bro in law does that for a living so I'm trying to wait until he comes!

Sun night I found out that some of my Moms test results didn't come back good so she was going in Mon for more. she usally comes with me to Bs app. and this time she couldn't because she had an app. But then Sun night I find out it's an app all right. At the hospital for more test because of some abnormalties on her check up test. so Mon I head to Houston. Shannon took tyler with him in the opp direction for His (Shannons)app. so I'm worried about my mom, feeling bad because Shannon had to take his car with no air. but Lufkin is only @45 min and the medical center is between 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours depending on construction and traffic. So of course he had us take the van.

so we get to the Drs office and where it's located you can park in the Science museam parking lot free IF you can find a space. If you park in the museams parking garage, It'll cost you $20 without a museam ticket!! SoI grabbed a handicapped space and grabbed B, his cane and papers and off we went. We were running late I thought so I just carried him and tried to walk as fast as I could. UGH!!! He is getting HEAVY!!
So by the time I crossed the very busy road and made it to the doors of the medical building I was POOPED! I put him down and let him walk.
I was still carring his cane. He HATES the cane. It slows him down! he'd rather fall a gazillion times and get up than use the cane. But as this was his spasticity and bone Dr and she was the one that ordered it she needed to see it.
so we FINALLY get up there and there is this nice older couple with the young adult age CP son in a w/c.The receptionist was going on about how big b has gotten and how good he's walking and asks him to show her how he can walk with the cane!
Now up to then he had been pretty cute. He'd climbed into this chair to read and it had fallen over and when the older man came to help him he said Thank you I rockeded my selfto hard!!
But when she asked him to use that cane Something took over my child!!!:scared1:
He picked it up and started walking and then he stopped and yelled I HATE THIS cane!! STUPID STUPID STUPID Cane!!! and threw the cane at the metal chair which made a horrible sound which startled the poor guy! oh I about died. I know how B was with his sensory issues and obvioulsy this guy had them pretty bad. But oh I could have crawled under the table!!!

So I get him calmed down we get called in the roomand the Dr comes in pretty quick. "Braeton what's up with you today??" you know how to be good!!!"
Oh great I guess she saw/heard!!!
so we have our session in which B just could not focus. He had had a Horrible migraine sun and was still not feeling the best. He would walk down the hall for her and then get sidetracked by the mirror.
Anyway it's a verry long story but here is what is going on.
We are going to go to night braces every night with ankle braces during the day instead of the ones he's got now. His now go to his knees. Until those get done he will wear the boot that goes into his current braces with his shoes.
We are going to try to get into a different physical Therapy since the one from the school is no help and they will TRY to teach him how to use the cane properly and help him with his strength and balance issues. The Dr realy feels that his cane is too bulky and he probably won't use it but if he doesn't then he has to go back to his walker!!
We come back in 6 months and at that time she is going to refer us to an orthopedic surgeon because unfortunatly his left leg is growing very curved and both his feet are growing in. they usually don't do surgery until they are close to 9 years old but if it continues to grow like this he won't be able to walk at all and it will put to much pressure on his hip bones.

the surgery consist of them breaking his legsand reseeting themwith pins and screws!!!

Then I get a text from my sister that they had found 2 spots in my moms mammogram. :scared1:

the good news is that the radiologist said it's just one spot and its alymph node which is rare to be there but not totally uncommon.
Dhs app. turned out good and he's at Dialysis now getting stuck for the first time in his Fistula Bless his heart!!

so I am going to clean today!

I've made a mini TR update and posted on here!! and all by 9 a.m.!!!:cool1:

I hope Mike goes with you. I think it must be a really long drive alone.

he did. And he actually stayed awake on the drive home too! :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear you've been fighting a virus.

I took DD to the doc today -- she caught Coxsackie virus (hand, foot, mouth disease). Great...one more thing. Doc said, no meds...just rest, fluids and time.

oh no! That sounds no fun! I hope she is feeling better today!

I, after countless trips to Walmart to get more and more shelf liners ( kept thinking I had enough and then :headache: ) cleaning all the cabinets and unpacked the boxes, have finished the kitchen :yay: :yay: :yay: Now I just have to put some odds and ends away and then I can move on to another room.
And yes Sharky I will post pictures of the kitchen.

Oh, I wish I knew someone who could do a wall mural...we're just thinking of doing those Wallies (vinyl stickers for the wall) or using a wall border. We found a cute jungle one at Lowes.

Wow -- Lee Lee...I wasn't keeping up with everything going on ... I will remember you, your mom and B in prayers! The surgery sounds scary, too.

I did remember to do that with our dining room since you reminded me, but I totally forgot for the other rooms. I'll definitely post pics and try to dig up some other pics of the old rooms (prob will have people in them).

Hey Guys!

How's everybody doing?

We are all okay here on the west coast. I am thinking about cancelling Disneyland in favor of renting a cabin at one our favorite places.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvTijfVF1Qo

I am just thinking if I save more money then we can go as a family in June after the kids get out of school. I think that would be better. I starting have real guilt pangs because Disneyland has been our family place for a lot of years.

:goodvibes

That place looks gorgeous.

Well, are the kids acting jealous? Do they seem upset?

So just you and DH would go to the cabin? That could be very romantic!

Although I like Disney as a couple or even by myself, there's something extra special when you go with family. Disney is just made for families.

Either way you'll have a great time with DH!

Hey Sharky!

I'm watching Olympics, scrapping and checking DIS!

Hey Marsha

Sounds like a lot of controversial stuff going on with olmypics this year

Like lip syncing, racist comments, a murder, etc

Crazy:scared1:

How are you feeling?

How are you feeling?

Still feel like crap most of the day...funny how you can be hungry and feel sick at the same time!

DD is still acting up due to her virus...I lost my temper with her today...DH says, wow, I never heard you yell at her before...I was embarrassed, esp since we were outside and all the neighbors heard...got to work on patience, esp when we're both sick.

On a positive note, I have my 2nd u/s tomorrow ... if all is good, then I'll be released to my regular OB doc. (last chance for baby #2 to make an appearance! :rotfl2:

and yes, the Olympics are quite fun and entertaining this year...all the controversy, the unexpected wins and of course Micheal Phelps. I esp like the beach vball (mens and womens) since that's my sport.

That is good then, like you said, healthy pregnancy...but sorry you don't feel well:hug:

Its okay, we all lose our tempers sometimes, especially when you are sick:goodvibes

Oh cool, Let us know how it goes:goodvibes

BTW....I love reading the little messages under your baby ticker:)
