The WAIT is driving me CRAZY!!

DS10 thinks that we have been planning a trip for Grandma to Chicago (without grandma knowing of course)!!! I let him pick out the hotel, things to do, and we even went on Southwest's website to "book" airline travel. Little does he know, I have been planning the trip to WDW (with Grandma's knowledge because she's going too!!) this whole time!!! I'm HOPING to wait until the Captain says "welcome to the flight to Orlando", but I'll have to wait and see if we can pull it off that long!!!!

I started counting for this trip at 209 days. Seems like 100 years ago. I can't believe I'm THIS CLOSE. I understand your pain!!

I am leaving on the 28th and am losing my mind!!! Part of me wants it to hurry up and get here and the other part of me doesn't because it will be over much to quickly!!!! Oh well, then i will just have to begin planning our next visit!!!

Ain't that the truth! I think the waiting (although it is really long, I have to admit) is a great part of the whole experience. That is why I like to plan my vacation a long time in advance. It gives me time to plan, plan and plan some more. I get to read these wonderful boards everyday. I can save souvie money without it hurting, and most of the time by doing this, my vacation is all paid for and I am debt free when we leave for our trip.

I enjoy the waiting, althoug it is a bit of a torture, but it is fun to see the weeks go by and the date getting closer.

I hate the Post Disney depression though! It really is painful. But I am already thinking about the next trip and we have over 5 months left to go for this one.

15 days for me. Yeah, I am going nuts too! Getting through the work day is really hard at this point. In any case the pre-Disney craziness is much easier to bear than the post-Disney depression. I have found the only way to beat post-Disney depression is to plan the next trip!

Only 51 days till our first family vacation to WDW!!! I pay in full in only 6 days!!! I have been so Disney obsessed that it is not even funny. When around other people I have to zip my mouth shut so as not to annoy them with all my new found Disney knowledge. My husband doesn't want to hear anything about the trip anymore untill about 2 weeks before we go.
The kids are excited, but not too much because they have no idea what to really expect. MyDS-6 is really looking foward to spending his birthday down there.
The only secret I have been able to keep is the that I have booked the "Islands of the Caribbean" Pirate cruise at CBR for both boys. I haven't yet figured out how to tell them or when. Anyone have any ideas?

Me too! Sometimes thinking about our trip(in 3 months!) is all that keeps me sane with my grad project. And we won't even talk about the added stress of preparing students' progess reports which are due at the same time as my final research project (I teach full-time as well).

I can SOOOO relate! We just told our kids and my dad on Easter that we are all going to WDW in June! Before that, I was going nuts only being able to discuss with dh or people at work. I can't tell you how many times I almost slipped up!!

This morning, I was on the phone getting meds taken care of with the pharmacy and said to the gal "We are going to WDW next month, so I will be needing to get dd's meds earlier than usual"...my heart literally skipped a beat when I realized I said "WDW NEXT MONTH!". OMG! It's almost here!!!!

Finally, my people are getting excited too! Before now they would just roll their eyes and act like I was nuts. Now finally...they will talk to me about it!

I could never keep a secret about going to WDW!!! But my DH doesn't want to hear about any plans, etc... or at least not as much as I want to talk about it! I have to go to the DIS boards! Sometimes I forget and want to talk to him about the secrets, funny things, etc... that I read here and that glazed look appears in his eyes and he attempts to call the guys in white coats to take me away. As long as they take me to WDW, it's ok!

Oh, I feel your pain. I work full time as a Nurse Manager on a Pediatric and a Post Partum unit and I am graduate school for nursing. Disney is my fun in life that keeps me from going crazy
