The WAIT is driving me CRAZY!!

I don't have long to wait--a little less than 5 weeks. I haven't even started packing yet or anything. BUT, DS STILL doesn't know we're going so I can't talk to him about it!!! I've talked grandma to death. I'm sitting here listening to Illuminations/Tapestry of Dreams and I just don't know how much more I can take!!! 5 weeks isn't that long, but right now it seems like a LIFETIME!! Anyone else going nuts tonight???!!!

To my horror, I'm the only one that really seems all that excited to go... Maybe that will change when we get closer to the day we're actually going to BE there!... I'm glad I'm not the only one out there CRAZY about WDW... Reading these boards do help a lot...

Count me in as I've spent the night looking at menus and chatting with DH about our trip. And can't imagine trying to keep this a secret. I just couldn't do it!!

I can't wait to go back, its all I can think about. I am in graduate school and cannot even concentrate on my work. People at work think I have lost my mind. I am glad I am not alone.

this is about how I feel about our May trip also. It's our first time and I think we're down to about 34 days or something....we go May 21st. I have booked adr's rebooked adr's and booked a couple again and am still unsold on a couple and wondering about whether or not I made the right decision. I couldn't keep any of this a secret to save my life. I tell the kids's everything I find out including reading them the menu selections for the restaurants and where the best places to view fireworks etc. I'm driving my dh crazy I'm sure. I've already bought our ponchos, travel umbrella, hand wipes (7 pkgs), travel hairdryer, shower curtain and 3m hooks, disney nightlite, 3 new outfits, new shorts x3 for hubby, new crocs, got my american money to spend, got our mousekeeping envelopes done with the kids, shoe hanger for back of bathroom door, shower hanger, travel size everything, blah blah blah. I love this pre-travel shopping...oh I bought new luggage also...it was a good deal ....
Can't wait.....POP here we come.

We leave in 36 days and my son has no idea we are going. We are going for his 8th birthday, he's going to be so excited. Keeping this secret has been sooo hard, it's killing me not to talk to him about it.

I'm still not sure how we are going to tell him. So far we are not going to tell him until we get to the airport and have to tell him.

We leave on May 27. I don't have any planning done except which parks we'll visit on which day. (at least that part is finished). I'm now staying up at night reading the DIS instead of sleeping.

ADRs are made, air/ground/hotel reservations are paid. My Unofficial Guide is nearly completely read. What am I gonna do now for four months other than post here to work my way up to "mouseketeer?"

The craziness doesn't get better as the time to leave gets closer. It is driving us absolutely nuts. DH & I just sit around and talk about what we are going to be doing on Tuesday in 2 weeks, and we talk about the trip everyday. We are so excited.

We are going to be at WDW from May 13-21 (my sister, my brother-in-law, my son and myself -Hubby isn't into that kind of thing so he stays home to look after the dog.) We're ready to burst at the seams! I put our suitcases in my sewing room to get ready to pack and I think they are inching towards the door all by themselves so that I will pack them!!!!! A daily ritual before we leave the house is for my son to ask me how many more days it is. This morning I got the reply - "That's still too long, I need to go TODAY!!! If we don't, my brain will burst!!!!!"

Don't be to discouraged. It is hard for someone who is not involved in the planning and these boards to get excited when the trip is still awile away. I bet that when the day gets close the excitement will rise!

It is so hard, I feel like I eat, sleep & dream WDW at this point...30 days to go and I can't wait! It amazes me how knowing i'm going to WDW, as many times as i've been, ALWAYS make me feel like a kid at Christmas!

I am leaving on the 28th and am losing my mind!!! Part of me wants it to hurry up and get here and the other part of me doesn't because it will be over much to quickly!!!! Oh well, then i will just have to begin planning our next visit!!!
