Help me decide. We have stayed at Regal Palms the past few trips and really liked it. The biggest down side for us is that it is in Davenport and a good bit away from the parks we plan on doing (MK, Blizzard Beach, Seaworld, Aquatica)
My hubby is very open to try something different. So let me tell you what our likes and dislikes are.
Likes:
* Space, there are 6 of us so a living room with places for us to all sit
* Pool - Lazy river and waterslides (both are nice but lazy river is a must)
* Easy to get to the car - We will be driving to the parks. So easy to walk out of RP townhouse and get in the car parked in the driveway, easy to unload and pack the car when it's in the driveway.
* pepsi - my hubby does not like that he can only buy coke on disney property LOL
* Like the idea of not having to drive far to get to the parks if we stay at BC.
* Like the idea of a bigger Lazy River and various pool options at BC
Dislikes:
* RP - Davenport is further away from the parks than Bonnet Creek
* Unsure how we will feel about the resort/hotel feel of Bonnet Creek. We park our minivan in the driveway of our unit at Regal Palms. We also get a unit right next to the pool so we are at the pool in under two minutes. I'm unsure about taking an elevator and walking a good distance to get to the car and the pools.
Open to any thoughts or ideas. Price for our 8-night trip will be around $1,000 possibly a bit less at Regal Palms.
Thoughts - Is the shorter driving distance of BC kind of a wash? Because of the time it takes to use the elevator and walk to the car?
