The usual Jan low fares...Beverly Lynn?

Where are they?

Does anyone think they will have them this year? Shouldn't they be out by now?

This is the time we usually go and it's because of the airfare deals. Also this year, my family decided to join us because of the fares. I just can't seem to find them.

Should we wait a few weeks or just book at current prices to get direct flights and time preferences?

I got $120 r/t out of ISP last week. That's a great rate even for SWA.

there have been a bunch of new fars that have come out in the last 24 hrs. I just don't kow what the complete travel by date is on all of them. some go until feb 6th. usually after thanksgiving jan fares are out

I'm going from BDL (Hartford, CT) and the best I can come up with is $165 with Southwest. Not a horrible price, but I have vouchers from Delta that I need to use. They are at $191. And last year we flew for $106.50 RT!!! That's what I was hoping for this year, but with all of the events that have taken place, I'm afraid that that will be out of the question.

The problem is... my Mom, my very much younger brother and sister (16&14) all have never been because of the cost involved. She brings us to the airport a couple of times a year and gets to hear all about our great trip whens she picks us up, but has yet to join us. We are DVC members and have invited them frequently, but not until the great rates that we received last Jan on airfare and car rental did she decided a Jan trip could be affordable.

They are definitely coming. (I think she's dropped us off one too many times to not get on the plane and have some fun, too!) She'll charge to the max if she has to. I DO NOT WANT THAT!

Anyway, I've rambled on, but at least you'll see my dilemma. Do I book or do I wait?

My rate for late Jan. out of BDL with Delta is & has been 180.74 RT for many months now. I finally booked the flight a few weeks ago as Delta has cancelled several flights and people are now filling up the flight I wanted to take.

I had hoped to pay less (who doesn't!) It is a non-stop flight at the hours I wanted...so life looks good to me!

patience they will come out. you have a few other sales before then like for thanksgiving and xmas/new years. sales will be out.
