I am knew to posting on this forum but, I have been reading post for sometime now. I am planning a trip in Oct when my son is out for fall break. How my people on here have used the Unoffical guide to WDW. I purchase this and the Passporter to help me plan my trip. This will make my 3rd trip to WDW and I want to make it the best so far. There is a wealth of info on this forum and I plan to take full advantage of it but, I wanted something I could put my hands on and read when not online. Any info would be helpful.:surfweb:

I love the unofficial guide. I read all 400 plus pages and use it to mark things I want to see and do. I also have a passporter and find that the two are a good pair. Good luck with your planning!

DW and I used both the Unofficial Guide and Passporter Deluxe on our recent (first) trip to WDW. We found both to be of major benefit, both in small and big ways. The Passporter's daily recap pockets worked out great to help us write down the important things that happened each day and to keep our receipts and other small souvenirs. The Unofficial Guide's deep wisdom on subjects as diverse as foot care and park opening procedures served us well, too. And then there's the touring plans, but also the general advice of what time of day it's best to experience each attraction.

The Unofficial Guide made our vacation much, much better, while the Passporter has allowed us to better remember our magical stay at WDW. We plan to buy new editions of each before our next trip.

I use both the UG and Passporter. I now also subscribe to Tour Guide Mike, which I have found to be most helpful.

for the help. I hope to make this a memorible trip for my DD who is 5yrs old. I hope these guides will help in my planning. Like I said before this will be my 3rd trip. The two before we just went down with out any planning and missed out on alot.

Another vote here for UG...and Passporter!

I think the UG is the best you can buy...I keep with the passporter because of the pockets and schedule planning pages.

We are at Pop 2-6 to 2-13. I have a PassPorter and TourGuideMike.......would you suggest that I still get a UG before we go? Thanks......first family trip!

I think you will have everything covered between the two you have. Although if you want to go ahead and get it...go ahead. It is another Disney book after all.

I have the Unofficial Guide (as well as a few other books) to help plan our fist trip to WDW. I have found it help to answer questions and to look at information for those time when I can not on the computer.

I am leaving Thursday for my trip and will also tour Flordia while there (be at Disney 4-9:smickey:). Coming back on the 15th. :yay: :yay: :yay:

Thank you for the help! I feel like I am over planning! But, you want to do it right. So much to see and too little time! lol!!

One of the things that may be helpful in the UG if that there are detailed discriptions and ratings of all the various attractions. This can be helpful with planning what kids can handle which attractions.
