If money wasn't an issue, what would be the ultimate holiday gift you would give to another person? Why? What would be your ideal holiday gift, and why would you want it? Share your ideas here in this thread.

If money weren't an issue, I'd give my honey a house in Myrtle Beach. It's his fav place and he always talks about just up an moving there.

I would set my husband up with a recording session in Nashville, with a big record producer. This would be his dream.

My give and get would be the same - one of the abd dis trips to Europe! My dh and I both want to go to Europe and I know this would be the best way to go. Now we just need to win the lottery! :rotfl:

I have a co-worker that financially will never be able to take his three kids to Disney. I would love to suprise them with a trip.

For me it would be to go on every ABD trip the podcast does:cool1:

I wish I could give my parents a trip Disney one more time before they get too old to get around easily.

Give or get is the same...take away my parents health issues. My dad is scheduled to be evaluated for a liver transplant in January.

For me it would be a home - we are at the point where I want to be out of our apartment so bad, but due to medical needs our house search will be very difficult. I keep telling myself that it jsut means that the perfect house is waiting for me to find it - it's just hidden away

My give and get would be the same....a very long vacation to WDW, with a cruise in the middle

DVC points, enough for a few weeks at a park and a couple weeks at Aulani every year-the Hawaii more for my husband. Though honestly, it's all for me-being that Oahu isn't our favorite island, we could get away with a much cheaper timeshare if we were only doing Hawaii. :)

Completely unselfish? A new tractor DH could use to putter around on. He'd be so happy.

I would love to get my neighbor an operation to correct the facial deformities he suffers ( he is very self-conscious about it) with. He's in his mid 50's and when he was born with a cleft pallet, the expertise wasn't there to provide much more that the most rudimentary closure. It left a lot of asymmetry and scarring. I'd like his outsides to match the beautiful heart he has.

I'd like to have my student loans to be paid off so I could buy a home and possibly continue my education with scholarships this time (live and learn).

I'd buy a two houses in celebration. One for my family to live in and one for our guests. I'd then throw a big BBQ and have our favourite band headline the BBQ.
Oh and I guess get a green card so I can live legally in the US too :)

I'm right there with you. Dad has Parkinson's and he has failed considerably in the last year. I would trade anything to give him back the life he had before this disease took so much away.

If it has to be a money thing, I would like to pay off my niece's college loans and to pay off my car and the other debt I have.
