Okay guys here it goes!! Lets see all the ideas we can come up with to help us all with our future trips! Everyone write just one to whatever u can think of for lists of what to bring and the top to dos! Lets see how long we can keep this going and see all our great ideas!!

After our last trip I don't think I will ever go anywhere without a small medicine cabinet in a bag. I always thought I was prepared for normal family illness. I had stuff for fevers, stuff for my migraines, stuff for ear and eye infections basically everything I'd need to triage until I could get to an Urgent Care Center but I missed something. Seriously, if the one thing you need due to a stomach bug is Immodium and you don't have Immodium your day is ruined:eek: There is nothing quite like sitting in a WDW hotel room so sick you can't be bothered with even looking outside.

Diaper rash opintment for chaffed thighs.

Monistat anti-chaffing gel to prevent the chaffing in the first place.

Moleskin for blisters.

Sunscreen.

Flushable moist wipes. Great for wiping down when super sweaty.

rain jacket or poncho
spray bottles with the fans (get at walmart, WDW's are very expensive). We also carried the small battery fans that you wear around your neck (dollar tree).
band-aids/neosporin
sunscreen
clorox hard surface spray for the room (I like to wipe down the remote, phone etc.)
Tote for the pool/waterpark

powdered laundry detergent and a fabric softener.

We packed enough, kids decided to change twice a day sometimes. Needed to do laundry...

which brings to mind--quarters.

Actually, regular solid deodorant does the trick. Cheaper and one less thing to buy and pack. Learned this right here at the DIS.

I will add:

- Baggies of all sizes and for various uses.
- A small extension cord or power strip. My DH uses a CPAP and sometimes the cord won't reach!

sunblock, ALOE, hair ties, clips, small repair set i.e.(pins, thread and needly, and safety pins).

Oh jeeze! Thats awful! greatt point!!

travel size duct tape. :teeth:

I've used it on more than one occassion:

  • to temporary fix the suitcase that was almost destroyed by airlines
  • helps to keep the curtains closed
  • temp fix for some clothing problems
  • blister prevention

Purex laundrey sheets (detergent and fabric softener in one sheet -- brilliant for travel)

I've brought colored ribbon to tie to the antenna of my rental car, or something to put on the dash, for those cars that don't have an antenna. Much easier to find your car in a sea of same-colored cars in the huge Disney parking lots.

We also bring a small 3 can cooler that attaches to my DH's backpack and bring in our own Diet Coke in cans and usually a couple bottles of water. You can ask for a free cup of ice at QS restaurants, if you want your drink colder. We MUST have our Diet Coke from a can - especially that first one of the day!!!:rotfl:

My list from last trip:
warm weather clothing
sweats / sweatshirts
crocs w/ id tags
bathing suits
pajamas
underwear / socks
nebulizer
zyrtec
toiletries bag
swim goggles
floaties
seat belt adaptors

Plane stuff:
DVD player / dvd's
DSi's
seat treats
snacks
change of clothes
inhaler
info folder/ tickets / money
