The Ultimate Day at Star Wars Weekends - characters?

For those who have booked this VIP experience in the past, what has your experience been with meeting the characters? We currently have a dinner booked at Hollywood and Vine for 7:15 at night, and really wish I could have booked the Star Wars breakfast as well, but nothing's come available.

With the VIP tour, do you meet anyone at the continental breakfast at Hollywood Brown Derby or at the "table service lunch at Hollywood Studios?"

Secondly, i've never been on Star Tours and get terribly motion sick. Is there a dumbed down version of this ride, like at Mission: Space?

I can answer about Star Tours...no there isn't. You may end up having to sit it out. You can ask your tour guide about it, if it's the motion of the theater they may be able to arrange having you go in one where they just run the movie and not the motion. But that will mean taking one vehicle out of commission for at least one cycle for you.

VIP guests have a private meet and greet with Vader and possibly others at Darth Mall when they complete their shopping.

There won't be any characters at the lunch which is held at Mama Melrose.

I'm staying at Port Orleans-French Quarter and am going on the tour May 22nd. I was told we have to be at HS no later than 6:45 when the tour starts. My guess is that no Disney transportation will be running early enough to get us to HS in time. In the past has Disney provided van service to HS? After paying so much I would rather not spend an extra $25 (taxi) or $45 (one day car rental). If Disney doesn't provide is anybody else staying at PO and would like to share a ride?

I have purchased the ticket for "Ultimate Star Wars VIP Tour" for May 22. As WDW does not provide transportation to get me from PO-FQ to DHS by 6:30 AM I have arranged a Mears cab to pick me up at 6:00 AM. Anyone interested in sharing this ride. The cost is $16.00, I don't know if that is for each for the vehicle.
