How fast does The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror plunging down. I seen kids as young 3 on the ride form YouTube videos, if it suitable for 3 years old and over. Also I seen on telegraph website that and 12 boy from Argentina was paralysed after riding this ride I worried that happen to me or my mum, Also I seen from this forum that there was an fire inside this too.

Also what mean says guests plunge 199ft in and "Prepare yourself for a mind-blowing adrenalin rush The ascent is followed by a dizzying drop faster than the speed of gravity. · The abyss awaits you – Drop in if you dare!," the park tells visitors on its website.

The reason I am asking is because want to ride this ride.

it drops fast and high - my heart is in my mouth and i scream every time i,m on it (but i still love it in a weird way).

Yes it's a very fast drop. I was going to bring DS on it aged 3.5 but he was too short. I went on the ride by myself and I was glad he was too short!!!

This is the one ride that terrifies and excites me in equal measures - I love the thrill, but I can help the involuntary screams that come from my mouth.

It's a very fast drop, really not for the faint hearted!

I took my DD on it when she was 5 and she absolutely hated it, didn't help that she rose up about a ft from a seat when it dropped, thank goodness for seatbelts! :scared1:

I wouldn't worry too much about one boy being injured on the ride, thousands of people ride it everyday without injury; it wouldn't be allowed to operate if it wasn't safe.

Exactly :scared1:

My youngest rode when she was 5, and it put her off. She's now 10 and hasn't revisited it since.

Her older sister loves it :goodvibes

I'm a 40 yr old man and this is the only ride i have ewe been on thats made me scream like a girl! Its amazing. It makes me nervous and excited and thrilled and breathless and when its over you sit there with a huge smile on your face! You have to experience the whole ride experience just once. The themeing from start to finish is amazing and the cm's really get into character as well.

go on, be brave and bite the bullet!

I enjoyed it alot. But didn't find it that scary?! I don't think I even screamed! God I am so hardcore! :lmao::rotfl2:

On I love this!!! I am the one who manically laughs on this.... The more ppl scream the more I laugh.... Sorry lol. I love it!!! It's fab!!

My 11 yr rode this over a dozen times 5 years ago when we were in WDW and he was only 6 at the time
There were peeps in the que in tears at the thought and all he did was laugh at them when they asked his age and he told them they decided well if this little lad can then so can I
my eldest and wife dont like it so I had to go on each time with him - wicked as I loved it also
He was too small last time we went to DLP so I reckon this time when we go he'll be in his element lol

Amazing ride, my only disappointment, that it took me 6 years to pluck up the courage to ride it, all those missed opportunities.
I find laugh nervously, scream like a maniac and then laugh again in relief works best for me :)

yep, me too - it was 2012 before we went on it - 5 years after first going to DLP . I do the giggle/scream/giggle thing, DD does the giggle/scream/wobbly legs thing :rotfl2:.

I love it when people do that giggle/scream/giggle thing. It makes me grin! :thumbsup2 I love watching peoples anticipation of scary rides, almost as much as I enjoy the rides!

This is the only thrill ride I am scared to do! But on Sunday I am going to face my fear and ride it!

My youngest went on it last year when she was only 5, it scared the life out of her so much that my eldest DD thought she'd passed out as her face was completely frozen in shock. After that she wouldn't even go on the parachutes which she'd loved previously!

Thanks for all answers.

When Some say it goes down fast how do mean.

so fast that even an adult will feel their bum rise off the seat (which is why everyone has to be firmly strapped in, and the CMs check, before they allow the ride to start).
