Well Since almost everyone is back (crossing my fingers that the tornadoes were no where near the area michelle was staying at..)

I'd like to tell you all,, What I thought of the girls...

Beanie.. She was a doll,, even though we didn't get to spend to much time together,, I could tell right from the start she is the kind
of person I could be really good friends with..even with all the teasing I give her,, she was still nice enough to say I was normal

Karen.. She looks like one of us,, She didn't look canadian at all and except for the occasional "AY". she spoke like us too... She was a sweetheart along with her husband and daughter, who were sweethearts as well..

Denise.. Was my Biggest surprise and delight,, She isn't crazy at all,, She is in fact Cute as a button and Wonderful to talk too with a great sense of humor..I wish we could of spent more time together..

Michelle...Now I might sound alittle biased about michelle but that's only because we have been buddies for awhile,, She was exactly as I expected,, Sweet, Cute, and very very Tall I couldn't ask for a better friend..

I am so Happy that I was able to meet them all,, I wish we had more time to spend together and better weather...but maybe next time,, I insist that we all meet here atleast for a week and if it rains we'll just come in and sit by the fire..

As for the stories,, those aren't mine to tell,, you'll have to ask karen and denise about that,, I almost missed it...Until I heard them laughing their butts off I would also like to mention the husbands and kids were great also...

I had a great time getting to know you all! I feel that we all just "clicked". You're kids were all great too. I thought it was great how Chloe and Annie met each other and within two minutes they were buddies. I have a big question though Laurie, how did those two big bruisers ever come out of petite little you???

Tricia, we've definitely have to get together again so we can keep up the Bad Girl reputation!

Laurie, Karen, Michelle and Tricia - thanks for the gifts. Michelle, I love the "earrings". I'm wearing them as we speak! My family wanted to know where I got all the goodies from and I told him some very special friends of mine.

The only bad thing about the day was that it rained and when I said rain I mean it!! We kept on eyeing up the swinging pirate ship thinking that would be our only salvation if it didn't stop.

I feel really bad for Karen. When we sat down to get lunch, there was a little girl staring at her. No matter how much Karen smiled at the little girl she just stared. We figured out later that the girl had never seen a Canadian before and she was just curious. Sorry Kar, we live sheltered lives here in PA.

Michelle, thanks the Notre Dame and College Football Hall of Fame goodies. My DH and oldest DS can't wait to visit IN! I know you're not leaving to come home until Friday or Saturday, but that will give you a day or to get ready for their arrival on Monday. I figured that they were welcome anytime to visit since you tempted them with the football stuff. Don't worry hubby only has 8 vacation days to use up so they'll only be there about a week and a half.

We need to figure out another Meet location so I can change my countdown clock. Where are we going next girls? Maybe to see our two good friends?

Michelle, thanks so much for the wonderful gifts you gave me!! I loved looking through the bag later and was amazed at all the stuff in there!! You are too generous!!

Denise, thanks for the Chocolate...that didn't last long around my family!! I must say though, maybe it is just me, but the chocolate at Hershey tastes a lot better than the stuff we buy at home...I don't know what it is, maybe fresher, but it is really good!!

Karen, thanks so much for the gifts for my kids!! They loved receiving them and have them in their rooms on their desks now!! I love the Maple Syrup too..the bottle is just too cute!

Laurie, thanks for the little beanie...very adorable...My daughter has it and has slept with it every night now~!

I loved meeting you all and I must say, Laurie is very normal!! Not crazy at all!! You guys are way too funny about Karen being from Canada though...what a riot!! Karen, I live close to the border, so I would never pick on you about that...okay, maybe I would, but not right in front of you!

We definitely need to meet again under dryer circumstances!! I think Disney would be the perfect place or maybe Universal?

Glad to hear you all had such a good time! I wish I could have been there too...maybe next time! Hey, I live in PA and I didn't know there was a tornado! Shows how often I get to see any "real" television, what with the boys on summer vacation, and little DD, all I ever get to see is cartoons. So, I can't give you any info on the weather, but if you want to know what Rolie Polie Olie or Spongebob Squarepants are up to, I'm your gal.

Beanie- Just curious as to why you came home early? Was it the weather? Did you make it over to DC?

Since Laurie has confessed that everyone is relatively normal, then how about everyone come to Texas next summer to help me with the baby???

Jen, we had to come home because right before we left, DH's work needed him to be back on Wednesday...wasn't too bad though because we left Pa around 10 am on Tuesday and traveled to Lake George, NY where we spend the night. The kids got to go swimming again, so they were happy!

Hopefully our next vacation won't be cut short!

As for Texas, I am not sure I would be able to make it there...that is a little too far for me to travel! LOL

Seriously, feel free to visit IN anytime anybody! Once you've seen ND and the College Football Hall of Fame I can take you on a tour of our cornfields.

I wish the weather would have cooperated a bit better too.

Still though - I wouldn't have missed it. I was kinda nervous waiting for everybody and wondering if I'd recognize anybody. No worries there though!

I don't know Jen - if we all showed up next year you'd probably end up with one incredibly spoiled baby. We'd all be fussing over him/her.
