We're going to Disney World!!!! It's official everyone We're going to Disney World!!! We've booked our trip with the discount codes that came out Monday! So now the details!
Dates: March 4th-13 (That's 10 days
)
Resort: Wilderness Lodge Club Level
Tickets: 8 day park hoppers
Dining: Just the regular DDP
Flights: Still not booked
ADR's: I made 3 but still have 6 more to pick
Total cost so far (for those who may be curious): about $8,902!
Now it's story time. I left this PTR for awhile because I always seam to get it in my head that my trip is going to fall through around the time we're getting ready to book so I get nervous and tend to abandon my reporting duties. But now that the trip feels more real hopefully I'll stick with it. I'm not really sure why I ever questioned us staying at WL... I think I always knew that's where we would end up but I was worried because I knew the construction was making less rooms available so the visa discounts came out and we don't have a Disney Visa at the moment so I did lots of math and some sleuthing to try and have an idea what I'd be dealing with come Monday morning. As I was saying before I'd been researching CL for this trip priced out the WL CL and it was over 10,000 and I thought there was no way! But then the discounts came and brought the total to under 10,000 and I thought just maybe plus CL was all that was left at WL for the discount so we came up with a plan first WL, then AKL, and finally FW cabins. Well I logged on right when I woke up Monday morning and the discounts had gone public! But there was a new one the Gift of Magic promotion! This discount brought my total to under 9,000 I couldn't believe it! After adding Memory Maker and trip insurance it brought it back up but I was still happy! I'll probably pay for half the trip and my airfare which is quite a bit more then I was planning but about what I budgeted for. I was planning on paying around $4,000 for my solo trip but had budgeted for it to cost $5,000 so even though it's majorly cutting into my spending money I still have Christmas to get some of it back and 3 more months of work
. I'll be making an ADR post in a few days we're not commando touring People so I thought I'd take advantage of the IPO services and have them finish my reservations for me. And this is where you come in! I need advice on where to eat! What are some of your favorite non-character TS meals for lunch and dinner?
