Thank you Tim for the link. Somebody mentioned Toys R us..so I will look there first. I also see they have Sea Life. Korissa would love those. Korissas favorite Character is Kota(is that his name) from Brother Bear. Anybody know if they carry those at MK? She would have to pick a hard Character to like...lol

I just got all caught up. That is fantastic news about the Big Give! I can not wait to find out all about it. Those pics of Juliana are insanely adorable. She is so cute. I love how purely happy she looks opening up the package and mickey mail.

I think I saw something somewhere about Garden Grove? We actually went there for a Sunday brunch on our last trip (they don't take reservations, it's just a walk up) and loved it. On Sunday mornings, they have Goofy, Pluto, and chip and Dale. The resturant is gorgeous and the food is pretty good too. I would tell you to check our my TR for that post, but just realized that I haven't written that update yet....oops. I have never tried it for dinner or lunch though.

We have eaten dinner there once before and I recall it being good. We had a fun time with all the characters.

I peeked at your TR and your DD is A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E.!!!!!!

On a side note. I am not really a baseball fan, just not my sport. I am all about football, but did watch the game last night. Although (don't hate me), I was rooting for the Twins. My husband is a Yankee fan so the game was on, but my friend's husband plays for the Twins so I had to root for him. I think I spent more time reading about Disney resorts than I did watching the game though.....

Who is your friend's husband with on the Twins?

Another great game tonight... although I missed more than 1/2 of it because of work.

They were playing the Twins right? We live in NYC, but are from Minnesota....but we aren't sports fans, so either one winning is good news!

I hope the Yankees lose of Saturday so I can watch game 4 Sunday night.

They carry silly bands everywhere around here. You can also find some cheaper knock offs too. I've only seen 'main character' types of silly bands though.

I heard wind (NO, not that kind) that an update was forthcoming. So........... where's the beef?

We had just finished up lunch and were about to go get Juliana from school, when I went to shut the front door. On the porch there were two packages and both were addressed to Juliana!!!! Oh My Goodness.. I knew exactly what they were- the first packages from the Big Give!!!!!! I couldn't believe that she had gotten something already.

Once Juliana was home from school, we told her she had gotten 2 packages in the mail.

Checkin' them out..

We let her pick which package she wanted to open first. Hummm which one do you think she picked?

She opened it up and pulled out a package and her name was on it... don't mind Juliana's foot. LOL

There was a very nice note for Juliana from Cheryl (DIS ID: aboveH20).

Ana pulled off her 'Juliana' sticker and had to stick it on her desk.

Then the opening commenced.

Juliana was trying to figure out what it could be...

Juliana received an 'I Spy' bag that had little toys, letters, stickers, & more inside. There was a card attached to the bag that showed her what she had to find inside. The letters inside spelled her name.

She really liked her I Spy bag. Thank you so much Cheryl. We plan on bringing it with us on the plane. That should keep her busy for a while!!!!

Juliana played with her I Spy bag for a few minutes then she starting eyeing package #2.

Melody had to cut the tape, or we would of been here for a while....

She pulled out something but found a card in the bottom of the bag that she wanted to open first.

It was a note from Elizabeth and her family (sorry I don't know her DIS name)

Once Ana read the card, she picked up her gift and it was a dress!!!!! She had to try it on right away! There was also a matching red & green headband to go with it. What a poser! LOL

It was a gorgeous Christmas Minnie dress... even one of my favorites was on there- Pluto! Juliana decided that she was now a princess.

We would like to thank you so much Elizabeth for the beautiful dress & headband. I'm thinking Juliana will wear this to either the Christmas Party or to our breakfast at Chef Mickey's! Thank you so much we love it!!!!!! BTW... good choice on the Care Bears bag... Juliana loves them too!


Melody also bought a wig for Juliana because she has decided to be Snow White for Halloween. Here is our model.

We were laughing so hard when she tried this on. Needless to say, Melody is returning it and will be looking for something different.

What a beautiful little girl, her spirit just shines in her pictures. I have enjoyed reading through your PTR and am excited to see her with her Big Give packages. She is an amazing survivor and I am so glad your family will have your special wish trip. I can't wait to hear more about your plans and then hear about the trip itself. Ours is not until February but I have to admit we are already getting pretty excited! All my best to your family.
