My DH and I have been to DL and DCA numerous times so there were only a few things we wanted to do and see. CarsLand in DCA and The Haunted Mansion Holiday. We also rode Pirates and then called it an early night.

Arrived at LAX at 1pm for our 2:15pm flight. Yes, I know we should have gotten there earlier but we were caught up with our friend we hadn't seen in awhile. We flew with Singapore Airlines and we saw a long line for baggage drop off and check in. Not panicked, my DH and I looked around and realized the long line was for Singapore Airlines......Internet check-in. We did not check in online and saw a line that had 1 guy waiting. Not even a minute wait, we were called to the next available counter, got our boarding passes and dropped off our luggage. Didn't even take 5 mins. The lady that assisted us was super nice and then we were off! Security was a breeze and our next stop was the currency exchange. Yen and Hong Kong dollars bought we were on our way. We arrived at our gate with plenty of time, stopped in and checked out Duty Free and then we waited a few minutes till it was time to board. DH made some phone calls to the fam and I took advantage of plugging in my cell (since I'm always on it)

Calls made, cell kinda charged and it was time to board. This plane was enormous!! It was a A380-800. My DH and I were sat in a 2 seater row and on the second level of the plane. Each seat had its own personal entertainment screen and plug for your portable electronic device! We got to see many movies that we missed watching in theaters. Food was great, service was great and all in all a fantastic flight into Narita. 2 thumbs up for Singapore air

Finally getting back into the swing of things and with over 2000 pics and videos taken, I am doing my best to sort through. BUT for now, I've done a quick little trailer with some video and pics I took of our trip.

Great trailer. So jealous you got to go to more than just one resort in one vacation. Please, please post your Trip report! I'm thinking about going to Tokyo Disney in the future and would love to hear about your experience there.

Hey everyone!! Still working on pics and I hope everyone is enjoying the trailer and the TR so far. Currently working on day 3. It will be up in a few.

We knew we had to go through customs and kind of had limited time because the wifi pick up place closed at 8pm. We saw customs and the pretty good size line and I was slightly worried. There are forms that you have to fill out and they weren't in complete English. We filled it out the best that we could and got in line. The line started to move and we got to the front in no time. We forgot to put where exactly where we were going and the line person told us to put the name of our hotel. Passport stamped we were on our way to get our luggage. Luggage done and another kind of customs point passed and we were out of there.

Picked up our wifi with a few mins to spare. Time for the railways. We spoke to the lady at the Jr desk, showed her the hyperdia print out of what trains we wanted and she sold us our first train ticket. We would need to purchase another ticket when we switched from the Keisei line to the JR Musashino line.

Went down to our first train and it was on the Keisei line to Higashimatsudo. Followed the signs and took in the sights and sounds of the railways. Also tried out the vending machines. Good times.

Onboard the train, we knew we had to get off at Higashimatsudo station ( about a 34 min ride) got off and followed the signs to the JR Musashino line. Purchased our tickets for the train going to Nishifunbashi, saw it, hopped on and stayed on till Maihama. Hello Disney Resort Area!!

Checked in, no issues and we checked out the convenience store in the lobby, purchased snacks for the room and called it a night.

I'm glad I found your TR! DH and I are heading to Tokyo Disneyland in March. I need all the information I can get to plan this trip. Enjoying your TR so far! :)

I do have a question about "renting WiFi." Is this a device that you keep with you to provide WiFi to your personal devices? Apparently our hotel in Tokyo offers WiFi in the lobby only, so something like that would be useful. I found this link, is this similar to what you did? http://japanwifiservice.com/en/what-is-pocket-wifi.html

It is a little device that we took everywhere with us and (for me was a LIFESAVER) we charged it at night and turned it on when we were in the parks and whatnot. Our hotel had rather strange wifi and I was glad we rented our wifi hotspot for the week. My DH and I took our sim cards out of our cell phones and used them for wifi. Along with our iPads which then the Hyperdia app became SOOO useful!! From messaging friends and family at the park and Skyping, it was definitely worth it. Here is the site I rented our hotspot from.

Just catching up!

Looks great at the Hilton so far. Those signs at the train....is the tiny writing underneath the kanji the english script translation?

Loving your report and pics so far. How long was the flight, and how cold was it in Tokyo in December? :)

Wow! That's my kind of trip! Glad you had such a great time! My husband and I have grown up in So Cal so we were always at DL. Since we moved to Texas, we have gone to WDW twice and DL several times.

In Feb, we are going to hit HKD aaaaannnndddd TDL & DS. Can't wait!! We have an 18 month old who's also nuts for Disney already...yes, already...maybe it's my fault since she's been to Disneyland about ten times so far, and I was seven months pregnant with her going to WDW the last time. lol

I guess I'm a glutton for punishment, since I'll also be five months pregnant during the two week trip with a toddler in tow.

It was so nice meeting you guys! Looking forward to more photo's from your trip report and love the trailer!

Day 4- 12/3 Waking up in Japan....Tokyo Disneyland

Woke up and headed to the Bayside Station monorail via Disney bus although it was literally a 3 minute walk.

Got to the park about 30 mins prior to opening. The weather was kinda gloomy and chilly but people were still lined up. Took my ticket reservations print out to the ticket booth and they showed us a picture of a building that was to the left of the entrance. Went there and picked up our tickets and we joined the mob of people going in.
A video I took of the mob.

Our first ride we wanted to make sure we got FP's for was Monsters Inc. Before heading to the ride, my DH and I were blown away by the sheer awesomeness of the World Bazaar.
Another video I took!

Strolled down and then headed to Monsters Inc. My DH wanted to get our FP's while I took pictures and was messaging fellow DISer Dreamsweetlove.

Found out where she was and we went to meet her at the Partners statue. Beforehand we stopped in at a store, ogled all the neat Stitch items and made mental notes of what to pick up. Also since it was chilly, my DH decided that we needed hats. Picked those up and we were off! Meeting DreamSweetsLove (Trish) was a BLAST! Besides being so knowledgable of the park, she was so much fun. We rode It's a small world and explored the park of its unique rides and food.
