My DS6 lost his 3rd tooth last night and the toothfairy brought him $1.00. He was thrilled this morning. Last time the toothfairy forgot :guilty: and "acidently left it under his bed" and I told him he just didn't see it right away.

So anyhow, this time he asked me "what does the toothfairy do with my teeth?" I was baffled. I thought as fast as I could and told him that he gives them to babies. My DD4mo is teething right now so I thought this might be plauseable. Then I got to thinking about it and realized how gross that sounds.

Has anyone else had this question come up? What would or did you say?

we always told my DS that she uses them to build her castle.
Now that you made me think about it that sounds gross too!

:confused3

LOL giving them to babies! How fun for your son. When I was a kid all I got was sugarless gum :)

I don't think my kids ever asked ... thank goodness. But here's a great toothfairy story.

A friend of mine had a son who lost his tooth. Apparently the tooth fairy forgot until quite late at night. By that point the toothfairy went to the child's room and realized he only had a $5.00 bill so the lucky kid would get a five instead of a $1.00. There's no where for the Tooth fairy to get change that late at night.

In the morning the boy's father was quite shocked when the boy came running down to breakfast and very excitedly announced that the tooth fairy had left him a FIFTY DOLLAR BILL! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My DS1 lost his tooth about a month ago. He asked the same question and we told him that the tooth fairy has magic powers and changes the tooth into the dollar. She does this only if he always promises to take good care of his teeth. At first he didn't quite believe me, but I said, "Hey if Santa can fly all around the world and stop time in the process (to make sure he reaches the far corners of Australia and China), then the tooth fairy can easily change a little white tooth into a shiny coin or a bill. This depends upon her mood of course!" He now believes that Santa and T.F., which is what he prefers to call her, are in cohoots and must be related. The easter bunny is probably their pet. THe number I'm pulling on this boy! YIKES!!! :confused3 :teeth:

Hey we'll be in WDW at the same time. Where are you staying? We're at the Coronado Springs Resort.

Cute story. I don't think my girls ever asked that question. My son still hasn't lost a tooth. Should be soon.

Awesome :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

We are staying at Indian Hills. We're renting a condo. It's right off 192 and Sherbeth rd. I wish we could afford to stay at CSR. Let me know how you like it. :teeth:

We'll be at the MVMCP on Tues the 5th. :cheer2:

lol My DS6 just lost his 7th tooth last week (he started early) and told me that the tooth fairy gives the teeth to babies. I guess somebody at school told him that, cause I never did. :confused3
