I will be on the edge of my seat, hoping that American Idiot wins best musical. We saw it twice and are going for the third time on June 27th :banana: Green Day will be performing! :woohoo:

Sean Hayes is hosting - we saw him in Promises, Promises and he did a wonderful job! :cloud9:

LOVE the Tony Awards!!!! can't wait - also have our fingers crossed for American Idiot! I love watching all the performances.:)

:wizard:

I'll be watching! I want Million Dollar Quartet to win Best Musical (American Idiot was SO BAD - honestly the worst show I've EVER seen on Broadway) and either Ragtime or Finian's Rainbow to win Best Revival and am REALLY hoping for Sherie Rene Scott to win Best Actress, but she's up against Catherine Zeta Jones so it won't happen.

We will be watching!

Sean Hayes will be good, but I still wish Neil Patrick Harris or Hugh Jackman were hosting . . .

I'll be watching! Admittedly this wasn't that great of a Broadway season for me, but I'm still excited to watch :). Hoping that Finian's Rainbow or Ragtime wins for Best Revival, although I'm not counting on it, it'll most likely be La Cage.

I didn't see either of those. I did see A Little Night Music, and I really enjoyed it.

I watch it every year, even though I only get to see what is touring through my area. I still love the performances and seeing the new stuff!

I thought it was a really good show, just so sad my favorite did not win :guilty:

We were only home for about the first half hour so I'll have to watch it on the DVR. Favorite early moment was Michael Douglas trying to clap along to Green Day.

:lmao::lmao: I know! It's a Broadway crowd and everyone looked like they couldn't follow the beat :lmao:

I LOVE WATCHING THE TONY'S. My flight got back late yesterday so I missed the opening number, which I heard was great. But I enjoyed the rest of the show, and am looking forward to seeing a few of the plays that I've missed to date. (Fela!, The Royal Family, Promises Promises.)

I didn't really want to see American Idiot cuz I love the album and thought it would feel like watching a cover band sing Green Day's songs. However, after last night, I think I may have to go see it.
