Well we are off bright and early in the morning to catch our 7.30am ferry.

I am soooo excited and so are the kids. Just got to take my doggie to my sisters and a final bit of packing and we're all set.

One quick question, is there any restrictions as to what we can and can't take on the ferry? We are staying at the Davy Crockett Ranch so want to take some favourite foods for the kids but didnt want to get in trouble.:scared1:

Thanks guys, and thanks for all the helpful info too!:cloud9:

Have a wonderful time and say :wave2: to :mickeyjum for me.

Have a great time.

I've found information about foodstuff that you are not allowed to come back into the UK with
http://www.defra.gov.uk/animalh/illegali/pdf/afrcarib_leaflet.pdf

Can't help with taking into France. What about your ferry operator normally they would specify any conditions on what you can travel with.
I recall on a bus trip many years ago a passenger having problems at the port as they had their favourite margarine with them :confused3

Added. I've just read the Defra leaflet that says all EU countries have the same import rules. This would suggest that anything not allowed in would not be allowed out :)
