I was on cloud nine with the CAA/AAA rate I got for our 3 rooms for February 1-10. My DH just rolled his eyes.

I'm sure I will be impossible to live with until these codes come out!

Out of curiosity - what kind of AAA discount do you get?? Is it worth buying a membership for the discount? Also, can you apply a bigger discount later, or is it one or the other??

You get better rates with an AP code. value resorts are 49 a night! Im getting Dolphin at 149 over Thanksgiving! Depending on your length of stay, and how many times a year you go, AP's may be the way to go. And, only one person in your party needs to have one to get the cheaper room rate. Do a search on mousesavers for historical rates for AP's and see when they have been offered! Im hoping to get 2 rooms at a value resort in January at 49/night!! woohoo..

I'm new to all this and I'm waiting for January rates too! DH and I are thinking of last week of January. Do I really need to book a room now? I thought that the end of Jan. was less crowded.

I saved $30.10 per night for 9 nights. so, $270.90 for our stay at POR from Feb 1-10 (value season).

The big problem is IF Disney does not release any codes for the time we are there, at least I have the 20% off the rack rate with the AAA discount.

If Diney does release codes then I can apply them to my existing reservation.

I was able to use my AAA card for discounts on 3 rooms. So my mom and dad and sister saved $$$ too!

Count me in too! Waiting for March 2005. Have AAA now but, really could use AP to save more on room so I can eat in my favorite restraunts I would hate to skip them this trip.
