Our second lazy day was upon us and boy did we need it! We both slept like a log, missed breakfast and went straight to pool. Unfortunately as we made a run for the pool, the sun made a run for the clouds
We did have a quick swim but it was so gloomy we couldn't be bothered to stay out in it so decided as it was so late, we would go and get some lunch.
We walked over to Pointe Orlando and went in to Johnny Rockets for a burger and milkshake.

We liked it in here and it wasn't really very expensive either. I do however think that having a milkshake AND a burger was a little toooooo much as I was uncomfortably stuffed so we sat in the restaurant for a bit to let it all sink down! I do have to really comment on one thing though. The service in here wasn't great. All the other places we had been had fab service but the staff were too busy talking to come over and offer us anything or make sure we were ok. We didn't really mind as we were left to it but this probably isn't great for some people.
At about 3 after another chill back in the room, we made our way to Magic Kingdom as we were going for Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes

There was also no crane over the castle, yaaay!

We went on a few rides including the Teacups

and wandered over to Big Thunder Mountain but it was closed
So walked over to The Haunted Mansion and went on that twice in a row (I heart that ride so much). By the time we came out the second time, it had started to get dark and near to showtime so we wondered over to Liberty Square and found a really good spot for the parade. Karl liked this spot as we could sit down but me being me, decided we should be closer to the castle instead...what a mistake! It was already crowded and worse still, the heavens had opened and it was pouring down with rain. I had a poncho on which I discovered wasn't actually waterproof but Karl was stood in a t-shirt getting soaked to the bone
I felt so sorry for him and really guilty. The rain was just not letting up so Karl decided to wander off and go and buy a poncho. He came back with a cool Disney one (better than mine) but typically, the rain STOPPED!!! Ggggggrrrrr!
Then we heard the news we had been dreading... The parade had been CANCELLED
but they would be seeing how it was later and if the weather had eased up, they would do it at 10pm instead. We were gutted to say the least! By this time, the rain had picked up again so we left our spot and headed over to the Country Bears Jamboree and sat on a bench under cover. Once again, it started to get close to showtime again and we took a chance and headed back over to the castle. We ended up stood outside Crystal Palace and had a great view

and before we knew it, the lights had been turned off... it was time...
