Okay, so still no update persay...it's coming...but I do have somewhat exciting news. Just a little exciting...

Yesterday I officially registered for the 2011 Half Marathon. I also registered Christian for the 200 meter dash and Will for the 400 meter dash, so it looks like I'm bringing them...or I'm out $20, one of the two.

We are almost positively not going this year (despite the fact we're registered for Give A Day, Get A Day...we'll donate the tickets if we can't get there), but at least I know for sure I'll be there for the weekend next January. Of course, I'm not sure we'll get to visit any of the parks...except when I run through the Magic Kingdom...but it's something.

Just wanted to share.

Heather! That is really exciting news! Check out my most recent trip report for a very detailed description of the race (some may think it is too detailed) You should go check out some of the threads over on the WISH boards. They are full of people planning on running in the January races. I'm planning on being there too, but this year I'm going to try for the full marathon. I want a Mickey Medal

that is very cool news! Carissa is going for that marathon too...she is posting her training as she goes along...it is very inspiring.

Would you guys believe I'm still alive?

Okay, I know I've seen some of you on facebook, so I'm sure you'd believe it...

My notebook from the trip is sitting right here, and yet I can't ever seem to get an update typed up. Is anyone even still interested? I mean that seriously. Don't just be nice. I'm not sure how much I can even remember at this point, but I'm willing to try.

So much going on. Except a job. I'm pretty much giving up and getting a job somewhere other than teaching in August when Christian goes to Kindergarten. Yes. Kindergarten. BROKE my HEART to register him on Tuesday. Even though I know he will do great.

Will's getting ready to start All Stars again. Christian was actually asked to try out for the 6U B team this morning, but it sounds like he can't. The rule book makes it sound like he has to actually be 5 by April 30th, which he won't be. It would be really hard to do both anyway. But it's an honor to be asked.

I've been running a lot. I ran 4 days this week. I still love it. I keep thinking we're not going back to Disney until next September (2011). And then I remember that we'll be there for the weekend in January. So I have that to look forward to. My brother called me the other day because he wants to find a Countdown Ap for the next trip...18 months away. And I thought I was bad.

Anyway, there's a quick update. I'm going to try to get the jist of your threads. I am SO behind...

why not do just a best/worst recap of each day w/ some pictures...it will make you feel good!

Thanks Julie. That's a good idea. Maybe I'll work on that. It seems like it's going to be hard to remember everything this far out, although one idea usually sparks another and pictures will help.
