The "TEAL" Dyson..... why no HW floors?

It says it shouldn't be used on HW floors. We use it that way all the time. Any ideas why we shouldn't? Or, is it just them trying to get us to buy the optional stuff for HW floors?

ack, is that the "full kit" dyson? we just bought ours last night on amazon and the colors look teal and purple. we have hardwood in 8 out of 10 rooms.
