See the DANGER?

Wow, you all talk a lot. We have a lot of *hmmm* strange* quirks on this thread. I don't have any. I'm perfect!!!!!heheheh
Have a good day all

OMG

You all are tooooo funny, sad, weird, quirky, random... I love this place, but how will I ever get anything done? Just reading posts takes all day!!! Will I ever know what you all are referring to without reading back 45 pages?

ohanafamily- thanks for the color link. I want to be able to do that colory stuff, but I'll have to study it first.

RRBB, thanks for my green iluvtink name. Makes me easy to spot.

llebrekniT = I am so weird about stuff on my feet when I sleep too ... I keep two pillows on my feet and the footboard holds them in place. If they fall off, it wakes me up. I hate going to hotels because the bedspreads are always that slippery material that falls off on the floor. I have to stick a pillow between the sheet and the tucked in blanket to keep it in place. And... I HAVE to have my pillow. I have a suitcase just for it and my Katie's pillow. We are both quirky that way. My DH, Ed, could sleep anywhere on anything. He thinks we're nuts.

Kismetdreams - I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet daughter. But I am SOOO much gladder that you've found her and have the chance to be reunited. I know she's had a hole in her heart for a lot of years. Can't you just hardly wait to get her to WDW!!! I want pictures!

RickinNYC - what organization are you in that is in VOAD? Just curious. I read your other post somewhere about whether to go on a DCL cruise and I was happy to see the positive support. Go for it!

Passporter people --- I've always used the Unofficial Guide ... what are the advantages to a Passporter?

BichonBarb - I have two cousins of yours... my little guys are Bichon Havanese! Toby is black with white chest, paws, eyebrows, chin, and fanny, and Tucker is all white with golden ears. They are both horribly matted from the winter and me not having time to brush and they are scheduled to be shorn in a week or two. Tucker is so pink skinned, I'm afraid he will look kinda like a little piggy. Toby will just be a big silver rat. They are such furballs now, that I dread how they will look. I'll post pix if I ever figure out how to do it!

Lewski --- thanks for inviting me into this fun place. I will be leaving Swiss chocolate in the vault for all to share. Now point me to the wine cellar!

I'm off the boards till later... gotta go help a friend make desserts. (I didn't tell her that if they're chocolate, she needs to make double to make up for what I'll swipe.)

Talk to y'all soon.

:) Kim

Kismetdreams, I hope the courts do the right thing & allow you visitation with your DD. I can't imagine what you must be going through. :grouphug: Your dog & cats are too cute. Cheech is such a cute name. If you get another, will you name him Chong? :p

Hi Kim and welcome to the Tag!

I work for City Harvest, a New York City based non-profit that rescues food and distributes it to agencies throughout the city that serve those in need. We get an average of 50,000 pounds of great stuff per day, which helps us feed more than 200,000 people each week. Last year, we collected more than 19,000,000 pounds!

I happen to manage the 1,400 volunteers that help us reach our mission. It's a pretty great gig!

We're a part of VOAD because of our connection with the Office of Emergency Management and the Mayor's office. We get contacted right away in time of disaster/crisis should rescue workers, volunteers, etc... need to be fed, i.e. 9/11

Did AMOS scare you all away?
llebrekniT/Deadheadbelle how far from INDY are you?

Lewski709, even the big version of Amos is a cutie! I went to bathe, since I have a tanning appointment in an hour and I didn't want to ash my hair, as I want to dye it this afternoon...But, I'm back now, at least for abother 30 minutes! :)

Lewski, that is a face that only a mother could love. ;) An old friend of mine had a pug. It was so ugly that it was cute. But it was the sweetest little creature.

I just received an invoice report from our largest principle, so I've been entering a bunch of info into our system. It's a bore, but the good news is that there are some orders on there that must have been placed directly, so there are some commissions that we didn't know we were getting. :sunny: Anyway, that's where I am. As always, I am connected to the DIS and am here if ya need me.

Back to work.

Good evening everyone,
I can't believe you guys have filled up 7 pages since I last posted last night. I see now we are sharing pet pictures. I think the easiest way to see any of my pictures would be to go to mine and DH's website www.pandkmorgan.co.uk it has all our pets pictures on and some of our wedding photos (although that was nearly 6 years ago and I have blonde hair now!).

So what are your plans for this evening? Mine is to have dinner then watch TV (the last episode of stargate sg1 is on in an hour), then do a little work. DH will be late home from work every night this week as it is his schools play all week (he will probably get home by 11:00!! when he leaves for work at 7:30am!) I'm in for s few nights on my own I think!!

Oh well the cooker buzzer is going off so I guess my dinner is ready. I'll call back in again later.
:wave2:

Welcome to the TAGLIARCHY, iluvtink. It's really rather easy to add color to your posts...

RickinNYC, I changed your WDW trip dates. Does anyone else have any to add?

Great job on the tour Nephosaurus. Only one thing though, you forgot to point out where the scrapping room is. For all those interested, it's in the attic - takes up 2/3 of it. But don't go where all those DOD boxes are stacked, it's at the other end. I've put all my goodies from CKU in there for all to share.

Quirks, hmmmmm... I don't have any, but ohanafamily does. He eats his food in sections - first the main course, then a vegetable, then the roll, etc. He won't take a bite of one thing then something else. He has to finish each dish before he starts another.

Hi everybody!!!!

Oh, I can't stand it when different foods on my plate touch each other. Green beans got no business hanging around the mashed potatoes.

I'll second that! Talk about getting fresh...don't you hate when then green bean juice starts edging towards the mashed potatoes?

My other quirk is that the closet door must be shut before I will go to sleep. This is not a negotiable item. Shut, not "pushed-to" or "slightly ajar"... I do not want the monsters (specifically speaking the "foot-eating monster") to get out of the closet. I mean, if closets weren't supposed to be shut, we wouldn't put doors on 'em. :)

Kismetdreams, OMG, what a story. :grouphug:. you are welcome to come here, vent, and not be judged.

I do eat in sections, I get annoyed with a Glug Glug sound while drinking. A certain DW does it all of the time, and I try not to let it get to me!!!.

I also am a bit of a perfectionist, and talk too much techie talk.

:bounce:

green bean juice
what's this? I drain my veggies or spoon them on my plate with a strainer spoon. I like my veggies to touch, maybe they will multiply. Peas n mashed taters, mmmmmmmmmmm.:)

I'll third that! Also, I do what Ohana does too. I almost always eat one thing at a time, except that I eat what I refer to as the "peripheral" foods first and save the main course for last. Of course, there are different variations depending on the meal, but one thing is for sure...if there are french fries involved, I will always eat them before eating the sandwich, burger, etc.

Wow! That is a major quirk of my DP! I didn't think anyone else was like that. I always just thought his aversion to an open closet door was related to something completely different. Like I've told him before, he's too far out now to go back in. ;)

OK, I've been lurking trying to catch up on about 25 pages and there are about three dozen posts I wanted to respond to, so please forgive me if I quote something someone said three days ago, OK?

But, first, can I make a request? If at anytime someone feels the need to discuss the birthing process (whether their own or someone else's) in all it's messy glory, PLEASE first post a warning. Something similar to the following should suffice:

"Warning - The following posts may contain material not appropriate for readers of certain genders or those who are currently eating. Please note that you may experience some nausea; therefore, you should proceed with caution."

I mean, c'mon...I felt less nauseous after Mission:Space!!! Sheesh!!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, still no one asked about the after birth possibilities?
