The Swan and Dolphin and starwood points

I am a Starwood gold member and wanted to book a 10 day trip in June at the Swan using the Cash and points option. I emailed Starwood because you can't use this option on line and they told me that yes the SWAN does allow this option to be used. Yesteday I called Starwood to book my trip form June 17 to the 27 and was told that these dates do not allow that option. The person I spoke to was very confused does anyone know if the Swan or Dolphin would allow me to use this option in June? The website still says that no hotel allows this.

My understanding of Starwood points is that there are NO blackout dates. This is a highly publicized benefit of the program. Call back and talk to someone else.

Cash and Points for 2008 have not been released yet. They are usually released in late Dec or ealrly Jan.
You can book Cash and Points online, I've done it many times.

I don't recall seeing the Swan listed this year.The Dolphin is listed this year under the Cash and Points option. They Swan have been listed in the past. Right now on SPG only the Dolphin is showing for 2007.
Also, there are no blackout dates, but is based availability for Cash and Points. Per TOS:
Offer is based upon availability and on single or double occupancy; charge may apply for additional guests
