I am so excited!! WE haven't done the luau since 2002 so we haven't seen the new one yet. The only place we have never been is Coral Reef so I am excited about that!

Did I already tell you that Jill, John, and Brooklynn will be there in October, too? I can't remember, because I'm reading several reports. Anyway, if not, I'll tell you now. Jill, John, and Brooklynn will be in Disney World in October. Maybe you guys could meet up for a minute. They'll be with another family that has four kids, so that ought to be interesting. One was just born this past week.

I'm making our November ADRs next Monday. Keeping fingers crossed for Liberty Tree Tavern on Thanksgiving Day, but chances are slim, I'm sure. Plan B will be Chef Mickey's, and Plan C will be Whispering Canyon. That's as of today, anyway. Some members of our group may not be thrilled about having to get to and stay in MK all day in the mega-crowd in order to eat traditional Thanksgiving fare with Colonial Mickey and Minnie, but that's what Jill and I are hoping for. If not, we'll take what we can get and still be happy. We'll be in Disney World, duh!!!

NO!!! I didn't know they were going to be down there in October!! That is so cool!!! That would be really nice if I get to meet them!! You will have to let me know exactly when they will be there!

I have heard a lot of good things about Liberty Tree Tavern!! I have all my toes and fingers crossed that you get the ADR's!! I have always wanted to go there!

How exciting!! I still don't know how I went to WDW w/o booking advance ADR's back in the day....I don't think I could do a WDW trip with out knowing my reservations at all the places I wanted to eat are secure first anymore.

You got that right!!! I sometimes sit there and think, How on earth did I get to eat there!! The only place I used to make reservations for was the luau and then the breakfast! Now you have to do it for everything!!

my sister called and talked to the manager at coral reef a few days ago about the diver and customized menu. she said she was very friendly and very helpful. she and her boyfriend are going in july and she's doing this to surprise him. and i don't think it cost her anything, just FYI.

Good luck, the woman who handles the special menus and diver is very nice and was very helpful. We kept playing phone tag for about a week but i was able to book that for my daughters sweet sixteen.
