This show is about five friends. They were at a sleepover one night and one of the girls dissapeared. A year later her body was found and she was dead, her name was Allison (Ali). The other four girls, Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily were left with this mystery of what happened. They often get texts from a mysterious person called "A" who they at first thought was Ali, but it couldn't be since she's dead. So somebody else knows all their secrets. Aria is dating her English teacher, well he's not her English teacher anymore he transfering jobs but he WAS her English teacher. (lol my mom is so gonna dissaprove of that) and nobody knows about their relationship except her friends. She doesn't tell her parents. Hanna used to be fat, but she's lost weight and now she's popular at school. She likes this guy Caleb, who is like a bad boy and doesn't have a home. So she lets him live in her basement for a while, and doesn't tell her mom (my mom isn't gonna approve of that either omg. haha) then Hanna and Caleb get in a fight and he leaves going to some far off state, but he comes back at the end of the season 1. Spencer lives by this guy Toby, who she turns out to really like. Toby has a sister who is blind and doesn't really like the four girls at all and she causes a lot of drama. Spencer reports something about Ian, her sister's husband, to the police because she thinks Ian killed Ali, but Spencer was just set up and now she's a suspect for Ali's death. Ian is a bag guy and is killed in the last episode of season 1 by A, because Ian is trying to kill Spencer so A saves her. When the police come Ians dead body is no longer there. Emily is a lesbian and her mom is not okay with it and she gets a lot of hate but she has this weird relationship with the girl from Neds Declasified School Survival Guide.
