I loved That Camden Summer.

That Camden Summer was a great book. Haven't read the other one.

That Camden Summer is one of Lavyrle Spencers best IMHO. My next fave by her is Small Town Girl. I have the Barbara Delinsky on order at the library.

I love ANY LaVyrle Spencer books! They are wonderful. I do like Barbara Delinksi too, but they have different writing styles. I would absolutely pick LaVyrles book, but that is just me.
