Once upon a time there was a family who loved Disney very much. They decided to travel to the happiest place on earth, Disney World! Mom spent a REALLY long time doing lots of research on the computer getting ready The day finally arrived and they were so happy. They did many amazing things and saw all kinds of great shows , rode lots of fantastic rides and spent lots of time with their favorite characters After a fun-filled week they were exhausted and trying very hard to get all their souvenirs and clothing back into their suitcases to take home when it happened. A knock at the door of their hotel revealed MICKEY MOUSE himself! YAY!!! A magical Moment! He had stopped by to say goodbye to the wonderful family and he admitted to being so sad to see them leave that he decided to go with them. Since he didn't want the other families to be jealous he decided to travel back home with them in the suitcase, so no one would see him leave. Unfortunately, he didn't realize exactly how much they had bought on the trip and how crowded the suitcases actually were and by the time they arrived home Mickey had been smashed rather flat. That did not stop our happy mouse, who decided that since he was now flat, it was the perfect opportunity to travel around the country and even the world to visit all the other families that so loved him. He only asks that if you would like him to visit that you would take some pictures of his visit, post them to
http://flatmickey.blogspot.com so that everyone can enjoy his adventures and that you then send him along, in a timely manner to his next destination so that he can see as many people as he can before he puffs back up and returns to his true home at "THE WORLD". It is perfectly ok to send a treat or two along with Mickey to his next destination but it is not required. Any other info you would like to include, family member names, pets names, places you might take mickey, etc. (all this is optional!)
If you don't know how to post on the blog, you can certainly send the pictures and your story to me and I will post them in the blog for you.
Once I have sign up information I will get his journey started and I will email everyone participating for your snail mail address privately and will then send you the information necessary to post on the blog! Everyone that isn't playing, feel free to keep checking the blog for information on where Flat Mickey is!
