The Stockings were hung......

Which would you choose: Homemade stockings that are cute but don't match your home or beautiful velvet ones that you've been pining for for years? How about if MIL made the homemade ones?

Do you think we could get away with hanging the new, velvet GORGEOUS! ones for now and then switching to the cute ones when MIL is coming over? Or should I just return the velvet ones? ***sigh***

I'm sorry, but I would have to keep the one's I fell in love with. It is your house right? I would probably find another way to display the ones made by MIL so as not to hurt her feelings.

I would keep and use your velvet ones to stuff. I would take your MILs and hang them in place of pictures in your house. I LOVE all kinds of stockings and found myself buying 5 new ones everycouple years! I didn't know what to do with the others that I also loved so I have them up on the walls. I also got some tiny suction cups and hung two on my french door glass. They look so cute!
