The STAR rate?

What is the STAR rate? Ive been told to ask for it when I make my reservations tomorrow. I have decided tp stay at Sheratin Studio City hotel. Someone on this site told me to ask for the STAR rate to get $59 prices. But i don't know what it is, or if I need something special, or what? Does anyone have some info?
