The "Spooky-Autumn-Halloween" Question a Day Thread!

Next question! Do you have any fall traditions? My family goes pumpkin and apple picking every year, and it's not really fall until 3 of my friends and I get together and watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

For the past three years we've always thrown a Halloween party at our house with friends. And we always carve a pumpkin and then make pumpkin seeds.

But this is the first year I'm not home for Halloween :(

I'm usually given the job of passing out the candy, until one of my friends came by and I threw something together and called it a costume.

New question: What was hands-down your best halloween costume of all time? I was the cowardly lion and one of my friends was dorothy last year. But our tin-man and scarecrow bailed last minute, haha.

I had a few good ones. My Cinderella and Jasmine costumes my mom made were probably my favorite though. My final time, my pirate was kinda lame but I literally had 5-10 minutes. My witch the year before was cool.

I was Russel from UP last year. It was really cute and I got a lot of compliments from it.

I'd say a tie between the year I was Phantom from Phantom of the Opera, and when I was Artemis the Greek Goddess (not the Percy Jackson version). The archery teacher at my school actually let me use a real bow for my costume, and I made these silver sandals and a headband and stuff, it was really cool.

That's so funny, my friend's little brother was Russell the same year I was Artemis! Every once in awhile, when we got bored, he'd trick or treat by saying, "Good afternoon... my name is Russell..." Sadly, not many people got it. :confused3

My best costume was Jack Sparrow, but my favorite was when I was the Charlie Brown ghost. Dint get any rocks though.

New question! Does your school have any fall dances, homecomings, etc? Mine has a Fall Fling, but no homecoming. It takes place in our cafeteria and it's when we all vote for our Senior Superlatives. I'm up for "Most Likely to be on Broadway" this year- fingers crossed :goodvibes

Well, I'm out of high school now, but we didn't have homecoming or anything. We had one fall dance that was very different. Private school weirdness.

We had homecoming but it's pretty pointless because there's not even a dance and it's mostly focused on the gaudy Texas Mums. Goblin Day is this Halloween and I'm so excited for that! Most people dress up, we have a spooky pep rally, costume contest, and all these sweet stands set up. I'm going to be Princess Peach.

New question! What's your favorite halloween candy? I love Twix bars :-)

Basically chocolate, chocolate/peanut butter, and chocolate/caramel. I love candy. Laffy Taffy is good too.

New question! Do you carve jack-o-lanterns? My family doesn't. We just let our pumpkins rot on the steps, undecorated and uncut lmao.

We always carve classic jack o-lantern faces on our pumpkins. And then we roast the seeds. nom. The restaurant I work at has a pumpkin decorating contest and I'll probably enter it.
