Hi guys!
I had a quick question...The ice cream on Deck 9 (you know the self serve kind) is it really frozen yogurt? I have heard it is and that it is also FAT FREE :woohoo: frozen yogurt? Am I just dreaming? Thanks! :upsidedow

Never heard that it was fat free but it is frozen yogurt.

Back in the early days of DCL they had hard packed ICE CREAM that a CM would scoop out. Lines were very long, though.

Well, if it turns out to be fat free, it's the best fat free I've EVER TASTED! :)

I would bet that the ice cream at Cookies is NOT fat free. ;)

Isn't everything at Disney Fat Free and Calorie free? :rotfl: At least that is what we tell ourselves each trip. ;)

After much study and research my family has concluded that it all has to do with the water . . . anything eaten while cruisin' those beautiful seas is fat free. If it's eaten on land (Castaway Cay), though, that's another story. And that's why Castaway Cay is a last stop - - by then you've actually LOST so much weight from all the fat free food and drink served on board that you can and should eat up in a big way to regain your strength. ;);)

That's our theory and we're stickin' to it! :)

I was always under the impression that all Disney Desserts were fat-free. ;)

I loved that soft-serve station up on deck 9. :cloud9: Roll on next September so I can enjoy my favourite vacation night cap - a healthy, delicious cup of ice-cream!

I like this theory!! We leave in a few hours for a 7 night on the Magic. I'll have to remember and tell everyone in our group this theory.

Woo hoo - fat free food - I dont know why I'm even bothering to try to lose weight now - LOL

One question about ice cream - is there any place onboard DCL that you can get the mickey mouse ears ice cream bars they sell at the parks??

The dining rooms serve them and you can order all you want from room service, just remember to tip the RS server.

I love wondering up a couple decks and getting a cup of ice cream. It`s soooo good. Just keep my DW away from the ice cream machine on CC. She has broke both on CC :rotfl2: She goes up and trys to get her some of the Choc chip cookie dough ice cream and the machine will not turn off:scared1: That was at cookies BBQ. Then over at Serenity bay she go up to the machine lifts the handle and it to will not turn off. The CM come over with a plate and trys to catch it on a plate . Another one upplugs it, it still coming out. Then they open it up and take the bag of mix out :laughing:It was a site to seepopcorn::. She did get her ice cream a little more then she wanted.

Don't know if its fat free, but it sure is good....we used the cups from the drink station instead of those little icecream cups:laughing:

Hmmm, that's a GREAT idea LOL! I never thought of that and always felt weird going up for thirds. Who cares right? :rotfl:

A few of us on these boards have been known to make coke floats as well. Just get a cup from the drink station, add some vanilla soft serve and then and then add some coke!! Yummy!!!

Also, I have made chocolate milk as well.....cup and milk from drink station and then just add the chocolate syrup from the soft serve area....
