i was in the dungeon and the same girl that tried to scam me a few weeks ago came up to me

let's call her girl1
girl1 trades me
i accept trade
girl1 puts pan and some other stuff into trade window
girl1: like?
me: yea the baseball base i have the rest
girl1: can i see pan?
i put pan in trade window
girl1 accepts
me: no! you tried to spam me a while ago so no!
i took pics but blocked out her name, will post later

Um... That doesn't sound like a scam AT ALL. Sounds more like someone attempting to make a trade, the main reason for that window.

Actually I think to some it is a scam..

the other girl was trying to get another pan hat even though she had one.

If the baseball hat was rurple I would have went with the trade to people the hat is rarer but to other's it may seem like a scam to me it didn't @_@

Wow, they never seem to quit, well at least nothing bad happened, but i don't thinks its a scam

Here are the pictures (the person saying this is my friend who traded her and asked if she was scamming, i don't know if the name needs to be removed or not, if it does, mods please delete the pictures)

I think roller takes pictures of every trade that goes downhill..

so if she has a picture and looks at the screen and it's the same name..

it's the same person

I wouldn't call it a scam... but more of a trick (even though in a sense that is a scam)

The girl wanted roller to accept the trade. However, the girl never implied she wanted to trade nor did she say so.

' Can I see pan plz ' is totally different than ' Can I trade for pan plz '

However I dont think anyone would press their accept button if put into that situation. 1 of the least thought out scams in my opinion...

If this girl was trying to trick you into trading something you didn't want to
trade...yes, it's bad.

But this disturbed me more...

You accepted a trade request from someone you felt tried to scam you once before.

I mean, really. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
That famous quote fits this situation.

Why in the world would you accept the trade request?
The best thing you could have done is refuse the window and walk away.

I do not think she accepted the trade. She remembered. ;)

She did not accept the trade...but that's not what Lori was saying. Lori was concerned that she accepted the trade request with someone who had already attempted to scam her before.

Let's not split hairs here.

I did want to say something that about a comment that bothered me.

So what if the player already had a Pan hat, alot of traders have multiples of things they trade for. Just because the person has pan, sparrow or what ever it is and is trying to trade for it again does not in itself make them a scammer.

This does not sound like a scam to me either, but then I was not there and sometimes things appear differently when told. She was trying to get an item that is worth alot for next to nothing so maybe it was.

Exactly. I made sure I said trade request. The "pop up", in other words. I was wondering why she'd accept the pop up for the trade window. I think it would have been better for her to click the trade "ignore" button and walk away.

Otherwise, you're inviting trouble, no?
