I was asked about the Sagamore on another post, it is one of the many options DVC members have. The Sagamore is located on a island on Lake George NY. Lake George has a lot of choices when it comes to entertainment but the Sagamore itself I would say is a great place to go to relax. Children are welcome there but it is geared for the adult. There are rooms that children are not allowed in after a certain hour and the main dinning room, I believe you have to be 12 years old to eat there. The food is outstanding in all of their restaurants. There are 3 restaurants in the main building alone. You can rent speed boats there which by the way I found go very fast for rentals. We stayed in a one bedroom unit not in the main buidling but along the lake, had a great view. The unit itself is par with DVC units at WDW, the bathroom is smaller of course but it had a nice living room, a master bedroom, the kitchen had the usual stuff, dishwasher, micro, etc. We eat out all our meals so I did not notice much about the kitchen. I would put it this way if you lead a hectic life, this is a great place to gear down and relax. It has a gaint indoor swimming pool as well as a beach area on the lake. I saw a lot of people reading a book or newspaper just laying around relaxing. If you want to gear up a little there is an amusement park in the area and a lot of the usual golf, horse back riding, walking, etc. It is a great place for adults.
