I made myself a promise to make it back for some kraut even if the buns/hot dogs were nasty...nothing a butt load of mustard and kraut couldn't remedy
What? No flatulence jokes? I thought it was practically mandatory to make some sort of fart reference after mentioning sauerkraut. Especially a "butt load" of it.

Have you ever sat in the front? It's scary. No, really. Like life threatening scary. No, really. I thought I would lose my head or pee my pants a few times. I don't remember it being that scary. I'd sit in front again, but next time I'd wear my Depends.
So you're more worried about emptying your bladder on the ride than getting decapitated?

Clean, quiet, but a bit of water (maybe pee) around the toilets. I give it a double flush...and so does someone behind me

Rosie fresh, me...uh, not so much:

You look like an angel when you're asleep.

In the interest of saving space so I can end this portion of the TR I am, in fact, multi-quoting.

Yeay! An update! For some reason, I looked up what hightailed means awhile back -- I think it came up on another thread. Anyway, it comes from the fact that when deer are frightened, their tails stick straight up as they race away. :rotfl:

Do you know the only Evening EMH we have ever done were at Animal Kingdom -- we are such lightweights. Looks like you all had a great time!

Hmmmm....very interesting. Also interesting that you knew what it was w/o looking it up, at least this time.

I am mos def a Sunday night MK EMH believer.

I love Casey's! When I go in August I really want to try the corn dog nuggets I hear everyone on the DIS talk about!

I love the Space Mountain update! I do agree that it is much scarier with it being pitch black inside!

Awesome Magic Kingdom extra hours luck!

When I went with my mom and grandma back in 08 we were let into the Haunted Mansion a secret way and ended up being the only people in the stretching room! It was a lot creepier than usual!

Can't wait to hear about your DISmeet!

I've heard about those little nuggets of goodness too.

I didn't even really think about it but it WAS darker...

That was the 2nd evening EMH at MK that I've done and both times we've got a ton done. It makes touring at the MK much more relaxed later in the week.

Yes, the stretching room with only a few people....creepy for sure.

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Us Pats fans are everywhere! Even when we're not in the Superbowl. :rolleyes1 I also saw you said to someone that you would root for the Bruins. Why the Bruins, but no love for my Pats? You make me cry, J. :sad1:

You packed a lot into that day! I can imagine that Space Mountain is scary in the front. I wasn't a huge fan of that coaster and once will probably be enough for me. Unless my friend Liz tries to drag me on in January.

I am not a fan of the Pats Coach--Bill B. other than that, I like Brady....

You can really sense the male comraderie that was happening there, can't you?

I'm glad he reported that it was a bathroom assessment they were doing in the picture. I was afraid they were saying what they did in there.

What a great late night! You're making me so hungry. I didn't know Casey's had they had it either. We haven't eaten there since 2002.

I have enough trouble getting Danielle on the HM especially at night. I can't imagine getting her on it late at night when it's so spooky and deserted looking.

You guys sure got tons of stuff in that night! I would have been dozing on the bus too after that long day!

It was a LOOONG, fun day.

:lmao: So true!!!! The first time I sat in the front I feared for my life. My eyes got all teary eyed from the wind so that made it even harder to see where the heck I was goin'!

Apparently I was screaming...

Hmmn....kraut on a bun. Sounds like pre-bathroom rating review prep.

I have ridden on the front. Scary....medium. Whiplash potential? Huge.

Interesting that there were so few other jerseys in comparison.

And YAY that the DISmeet happened, I can't wait to see pics/hear about it.

I unfortunately didn't get to have any kraut that night. My innards were spared.

I had a good time on SM, but it was scary.

There were a few Boston and Yankees jerseys too, but I wasn't looking so much at any jersey other than football..

It was a great DIS meet.

I love when the parks seem empty during EMH! It's possible to get so much more done! :)

54degrees?! We had cold temps too and it just seems very wrong to be cold in Florida!

It was EMPTY! The temperature probably had something to do with it as well.

what?!???!!! have you not been reading my TRs? i LOVE casey's sauerkraut! it's the only reason i let ray eat there every flippin' CS meal we have in MK!

I do read your reports, but must've forgotten (I'm getting old):rolleyes1

i can't wait! :yay:

wow....you guys got a lot done in that 2 hours! looks like a great night!!![/QUOTE]

it was great to spend time with friends!

as i was looking at the pics, i had to go back and look at this one after i passed it, is that a grown man who is short? a child with a beard, a child with pirate makeup? or a grown man who is on a knee tieing a show?

or was it just something that showed up on your picture after you took it.

a ghost?
:confused3

I didn't know for sure. I THINK it's a kid, but he looks like an adult...kinda spooky, huh?

Great update and recap. I'll have to post a better reply later. Phone is acting up.

Oh oh....

I didn't know Casey's had sauerkraut! I must try that next time!
Ever since I went to a German Oktoberfest in Michigan and tried sauerkraut I loved it (with plenty of mustard of course!). I can't even put ketchup on my hotdogs anymore...it's only mustard now!

You can smelll the kraut from a mile away....smelled sooo good!

Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who hears the angels sing at different moments in WDW.

Are you really holding a camera or pretending to be like them?! :upsidedow

Whoa, that is one scary ghost! :scared1: I'm actually glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read that post, otherwise I would've spit it out all over my screen. You crack me up! :lmao:

By the way, have you made your favorite TR's list?

I often hear them sing while at WDW, but usually when something is so funny or weird that I know it's trip report worthy.

I am holding my camera case.

Doesn't the kid look different though....

Jordan, that was certainly one l-o-n-g day! But jam-packed with fun! :thumbsup2

Hmmm... Hightailed.

Webster's says that its a verb meaning "to retreat at full speed."

I always thought that was a reference to a fast-running deer... don't their tails stick up when they run??

Kathy

It was a fun day. I'm glad I had that break babysitting...

Kathy, apparently it IS in reference to the deer according to Jackie.:thumbsup2

I was thinking he was a little scarey looking :rolleyes1 maybe it was just the camera angle :)

Maybe it's the bright flash....:confused3

I'm just disappointed you didn't make it over to the National Dance Team Competition - surely you could have worked that in!;)

Saw enough of them around the park..I felt like I was at a performance.;)

Oh yeah, and I LOVE dogs with sauerkraut and mustard. Only way to eat them. A bratwurst or polish sausage would be better, though - had one last night to celebrate the Card's home opener.:thumbsup2

ooooo...polish sausage.

Go Dodgers! Oh, wait, we haven't won a game yet.

What a great night you all had!

I had sauerkraut and pork chops for dinner last night! :thumbsup2

That did not look like a kid! I might have started running if I was at HM late at night and saw him coming toward me!

I sat in the front seat last time I rode SM and I had a blast! Scary but fun!

What could be better than being at Magic Kingdom late at night with your friends!

Subbing in. Long time lurker. I was LOL when I read about the Space Mountain. Have you ever seen it with the lights on? I was riding TTA when SM broke down so when we came to that part the lights were on. :scared1:
Suffice it to say I only rode it one time after that.

Thanks for the funny update.
Now I want to ride SM in the front! :thumbsup2
DH and I ate at Casey's in 08. He was in heaven and I said we'd never eat there again! But we do go to Biergarten every trip so he gets his sauerkraut and sausage there.

I like your summary of the day. It helps you realize how much you crammed into one day. Good job on sticking close to your plan. :thumbsup2

That kid/person/ghost-looking creature is CREEPY. I can't believe you caught that picture on THAT ride. Little did that kid/person/ghost-looking creature realize that they would be discussed in great detail by a bunch of people. Lucky them.

I'm here Millie!! Just trying to recover from the SHOCK of BOTH my MNSSHP parties being NOT scheduled, dropped, ditched, chucked from the 35th story of the Empire, whatever. I've had to spend the whole morning trying to tweak my schedule.

BOO!!

Anyway. I think I may have missed far too much fun stuff here, and will have to back up MANY pages to catch up.

Hi! Sorry I missed you! :goodvibes

Derek and Camille - thanks for the explanations and the welcomes - what a fun bunch y'all are! And Derek - what beautiful kiddos you have!

Your most welcome! Hope you like it here, were a silly bunch but mostly good clean fun.

I heard that! To everyone who knows what goes on here...I SAID MOSTLY!!! :rotfl:

I've been a bit busy this past weekend...Ducks hockey, meetings, church, more meetings, a few naps and a DIS meet...

Gonna take a short nap...will be back to catch up and do a final update for this portion of the trip report.....

Hope it was a good one. :)

Rest well my friend.

Yea! What he said.

Hmm Barbados sounds good - or Tortola, or St. Thomas..... Actually today I'm working on a reality check - got a $190 speeding ticket - OUCH!!!!

Yikes! Sorry about that one. We want Tammie around for a long time, so no, more, speeding. OK?

Hi all! Just wanted to announce that our 4th grandbaby due in August is a BOY!!!! :woohoo: If you saw this on Dawn's thread, sorry for the repeat!

Yipee!!!! :yay: That's so cool! My daughter's birthday is in August, good month to be born in, just not a good month to be preggers in. :sad2:

You done good Millie.

Thank you Jordy, on both comments. :)
