Zane and Nico, along with the few other founding members of their movement, had finished the base.
They had several other bases around the country, but now they were connected through out a series of underground tunnels, and this base was now protected with defenses, and it was accomodated for the members. There were barracks for the members, and near Zane's office Zane, Nico, Bianca and the other leaders had dorms. And it was all located in yet another unassuming warehouse in the Warehouse Storage Pavilion.
Zane and Nico sat on the roof of the former's office, enjoying a treat: a can of Coke each.
"Do you think we'll change anything, in the end?" Zane asked. Nico took a long sip of Coke.
"You can't doubt yourself Zane. You're the leader, you're the guy that these people are going to look up to. To doubt is folly and dangerous. You'll be a good leader, like Captain Kirk or Mufasa," Nico answered.
Zane laughed at Nico and stared at his right palm. A scar stretched diagonally from one side of his palm to the other. When they were younger, Nico had cut his palm the same way and they had clasped palms, making them blood brothers.
Nico saw him looking at the childhood cut and raised his own scarred palm. "Brothers to the end?"
Zane smiled and shook his hand. "Brothers to the end."
Now
Zane: It was starting. He looked at Nico. He had given their contacts a time and place to meet them. He, Nico and Bianca would then lead them back if they checked out. The revolution was finally getting started.
Nico: He looked back at Zane. They would have to be careful. They could only hope their recruits were trustworthy.
Bianca: She met her brothers and gave them each a hug. The three of them knew the road ahead wouldn't be easy, but they knew that it was a cause worth fighting for.
