The Renovated DLH Pool

will offcially open Monday 11/14/11. I'm green with envy towards all that will be staying there Monday and after. I won't be back until July 2012.

Also I was told while they don't have the exact date for the completion of the renovation of DCA it is currently scheduled for grand opening between June 10th and the 20th 2012. They are working on the date for the press event right now. Of course this is subject to change but it appears that DCA will be in full swing for all planning a July 2012 visit!!!

Can't wait till July 2012!!

The pool might have a "soft" opening this weekend, judging by what I observed the past couple of days. Lifeguard training was going on Thursday, and on Friday morning, there were "suits" walking around checking things out. The lounge chairs and cabanas are all set up. it didn't look like there was really anything else that needed doing. I will try to get some pictures up before the weekend is over.

Quick question about the pool, are they heated? The other with the new slides too? We'll be there for Thanksgiving, so knowing it will be cooler weather of course, didn't know if people still brave it?
