Glad you got home safe; but not good that the power was out. I hope you weren't without power for too long.

The same recipe holds for standard pancake. I would add a little more milk.

Not sure what time it went out, DH said it was out when he got home at about 8:30pm. It finally came on at about midnight last night. So at least 2 nights and a day, which was plenty long enough!

A Little Disney Magic at Home – Mickey Pancakes




At a recent DisMeet, Zaccy asked for my recipe. I had figured it would be as simple as coming back to the Dis and doing a search on selected key words. Turns out that assumption was wrong!

Seeking that recipe and that post turned out to be like looking for a needle in about 68,500 posts! Okay….I probably could have looked a little harder; but it seemed like the perfect opportunity to whip up another batch!

• Egg, 1
• Milk, ¾ - 1 cup
• Pinch of salt
• Oil, 1 teaspoon

These paper models were set up between the Poison Apple punch and the Black Magic punch. I believe the patterns were from a website called Haunted Dimensions.

So.....I was at the Grand Canyon around 7 pm, 21 September.....USA time. Yes, I know I was at least 17 hours late to the Virtual Melbourne DisMeet...but we did agree on the date and time for wherever we were, local time.

And as is the way when watching sunset at the Grand Canyon, always turn around and see what's happening behind you. The colours were spectacular in the fading light.

I know we talked about a catch up this weekend when we last saw each other; but my silly season is starting earlier than normal. There seems to be a lot of end of year activities kicking off sooner rather than later.
