I just love the part of you checking out your hips and then saying you didn't need one. I wouldn't bother looking at my hips because it would make me feel bad when I said, "Heck yeah, you better get me a Cinnabon!" :rotfl:

DH and DS are going to see HP in 3D on Sunday. It's already sold out!:scared1: The lady who got the Scouts together to do it must be nuts because I heard today that it was PG13 and this is a group of 8 year olds! He's just getting into watching the movies and every night DH and he take turns reading pages from the first book.

:rotfl:I'm trying to be pretty well behaved because of the TON of awesome stuff I'll be eating in a few months! I figure if I cut back now, it won't be so drastic when I gain it all back!!! :lmao: Plus, I'd LOVE to fit into my old prom dress for the Ren Faire this year.

When I go and see it with my mom and my brother, we may try and go see it in 3D. DH has issues with his eyes and sometimes 3D things give him major headaches. He was okay last year with the Disney stuff, luckily.

Someone(won't spoil it, but I'll be ) dies in this movie. It's not gory(at least not in the book!) or anything like that, but this movie has the potential to be REALLY scary. The books get darker as the series goes on. I've had nightmares about the Dementors when I've read the books late at night, so I can imagine how it might be for the younger kids.

(For all you Muggles, a Dementor is a lifeless being that sucks all the happiness out of humans, it's what it feeds on. It makes you relive all the unhappiest things, you feel like you'd never ever be happy again. Also, it might perform the "Dementor's Kiss" where the Dementor sucks out your soul.)

Congratulations!!!!! :dance3: :cheer2: :woohoo:  :cool1:

You be good on those other threads from now on, Cuz!!!! :lmao:

Thank You:goodvibes

I will be good on the other threads, and save my badness for here, since it is easier to hide on here...:rotfl2:

DH has the same bride and groom Mickey and Minnie from his previous marriage. That's the only reason I don't like it. :p

I didn't know he was married before....

Look at that...I found something out with having to use one of my stalkery questions....:lmao:

DH does Hanukkah, but he appreciates Christmas card too. The love is there. ;)

Another thing I did not know today....I am finding out a lot today.

(scribbles franctically in her cuz stalker book..:rotfl2: )

Serioulsy, do you celebrate both Christmas and Hanukhah each year...Do you have a tree and a menorah?

Yup! Some places had midnight showings. I SO would have gone to a midnight showing. Since DH is working, we're waiting until 8:00PM  But... I did go to the movie theater to pick up the tickets for tonight(so we don't have to worry about it selling out and we can eat dinner, etc.). I got there round 8:20 or so, the box office was suppose to open at 8:30AM. There was a newspaper reporter there talking to some ladies about the movie and the last book coming out next week. You know me, I couldn't keep my mouth shut and butted in a little, but apologized too. :rotfl: So I'll let you all know if I make it into the paper tomorrow! ;)

Nah, DH doesn't dress up. He was born at the age of 40. I have to bring out the kid in him. ;)

DH said it was SO special to see Disney through my eyes when we went last year because his ex-wife was a bratty nag when they went. I'm so childlike sometimes that it brought some of the Disney magic back to life for him! :sad1:(happy tear!)

(I'll be waiting for more questions!!!:rotfl:)

So, what did you say to the news reporter?

What childlike things did you do at Disney? get autographs, hug characters, skip down main street?? I know I did...:rotfl2:

How long where dh and ex wife married?

I think about does it..:lmao:

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am all caught up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cool1: :cool1:

Now, where is everyone at again??:rotfl2:

I only have 5 mins left......

I will talk to ya chicas later!!!:grouphug:

Honestly, DH doesn't really celebrate. I have a little fake Christmas tree. His folks celebrate more than he does. :confused3

Cute!!! :cutie: Are these the moms from the scrapbooking MNO?

Yes, some of these moms do the scrapbook thing with me...all of us do the MNO every 2 months. The mom holding the 2 kids on the far right is the one who got the double shower, brings her baby to MNO, and basically lives on drama!

Can't wait to hear your take on the movie! (w/o spoiling anything of course...I hope to see it but that would require a babysitter, etc and we have yet to find one. The one we had moved to Alexandria.)

Hmmm... geeks to me are a mix of a dork and a nerd. They're super smart like the nerds, but like D&D!!!! :rotfl: Is that okay with you, Marshay?? :rotfl2:

I told my DH your description of dorks and nerds and he liked it...he wanted to know where geeks fall...He describes himself as a geek and calls me a Disney Geek -- to which I still refute being a geek...I think of geeks as computer whizzes and I'm not one of them!

Ok, my parents will be here soon so I better clean up the DR/LR...there is cat hair and toys all over the place....

...

I'm not telling what I told the reporter until I see if it makes it yet!!! ;)

As far as the childlike things I did... I got autographs, and I did hug characters, I might have skipped down main street. I think a lot of it was just little things like me being excited about seeing the castle. :goodvibes  I'll have to ask him again. :scratchin

They we're married for 2 years. She was a brat. He would go out, from home, just to get her a donut and she would complain that it was in a bag and not a box. :sad2: Thank goodness DH refused to have a kid with her towards the end! I wouldn't want to be dealing with her day to day.

How did he like my geek adendum then??? :lmao: See, that's the way I think about geeks too, I'm a dork for sure!!! ;)
