Sorry I went AWOL for a while. We got my son's endoscopy results back and they were a mixed bag. I'm making appointments for a whole new round of testing for him now. We're all well, hope everyone here is well too.

Parla, I saw you posted about 40 mins ago....if you are still here, how was your 4th?

what did you guys do?

It was pretty boring. We went to the hospital so I could visit my friend which was sad, even though she's doing well, and then stopped at the grocery store. I didn't want to go downtown to watch fireworks and I'm glad we didn't since there was a big thunderstorm. So we went and got some KFC (I'm addicted to the chicken and biscuit bowls) and Krispy Kremes and came home to watch the Nathan's hotdog eating competition that I had TIVO'd. It was good to see an American finally win it again but man that was gross to watch. I TIVO'd the special on ABC but we haven't watched it yet. I saw you say that it was delayed due to rain. Will we even see any fireworks when we watch it (I TIVO'd another one but don't remember which channel it was on.

Okay...I played with my avatars a few time and think I am happy for now...

I had CIndy Brady from the Brady Bunch Movie and put the word tattletale on it....but I couldn;t get the writing big enough to see that, so I didn;t like it.

Then, I tired out a pic of Mickey, Goofy, Alice in Wonderland, etc playing a game at a table...but it was too white and smalll and you couldn;t make out half the characters.

So, I have settled on the Green Mickey..felt it was appropriate for the dis..

Is that one of those old plastic molds that you could buy at amusement parks? I had some from the Milwaukee Zoo one time. You put a few quarters in a machine and chose the one you wanted and it melted the plastic and formed it right there.

I actually taped the New York Show..NBC one, so those were on time...I didnt do the abc one, as it was 4 hrs long........

But, the fireworks didn't come on til after 11pm as the news was delayed, so you probably won't see any....sorry

Hi girlies..

What is everyone up to today?

Today is a lazy day for us.

I was going to take ds to mall to run off some energy, but I stubbed my pinky toe on my sneaker in the hallway and broke it for the 2nd time.

It was sticking way out, so I didn't have any adhesive tape...looke all thru bathoom cabinet, but couldn't find it.

So, I am using masking tape for now and at least the throbbing has stopped...

So, going to be staying here for now as I don't want to do a lot of walking..

The description says people find out they are housing with unwelcome guests from their past...probably like ex best friends, ex boyfriends, etc..

Thanks, I'm sure that NBC is the other one that I taped so we'll just watch that one. Four hours doesn't sound familiar at all. Was that split into separate chunks? I thought what I taped was only an hour.

I am following too many shows....So You Think You can Dance, The Top Chef, The Next Food Network Star, America's Got Talent, On the Lot.....

American Got Talent is hit or miss..don't always watch it..

Top Chef comes on at a later hr, so If I have a conflict, it will tape the later one...which works for me...

Do you watch on the Lot??

I wanted to know what you thought of their horror flicks?

NBC...I think that was the one hr one, whifh is why I taped that one instead,,,,,tring to save some space.....

Ok, I finally bought some Disney supplies to start working on my DD's Disney Activity book for the plane (which will then become part of her scrapbook for our trip!)

This is the first night, then when I went to tape it, it didn't pop up that I had a conflict...

I ended up going back and forth between the ones in WashingtonDC and the NY ones. They were both good soI hope you get to watch one of those on you DVR

He's cute, he almost looks like he's made of Jade, very exotic!

The pictures are in the old photo albums that I haven't found yet. They are put away ina rubbermaid container out in the shed and buried behind tons of Christmas containers. I'll find them eventually and show you the pics. Promise!!!
