We are running out the door so I can visit my friend that had brain surgery last week but I wanted to leave you with pics of DD in one of her new dresses that we got at the mall the other day. We went shopping before and after Ratatouille. There were some good sales!

You read her mind. It's one of the nicest dresses she's ever owned. We got it at GapKids on clearance for about $10 and after I tied the neck for her she twirled around and said, "I really am a princess now!"

Yeah, I try to get out and have fun -- either just DD and me or all 3 of us -- esp when the events are FREE!!

We are running out the door so I can visit my friend that had brain surgery last week but I wanted to leave you with pics of DD in one of her new dresses that we got at the mall the other day. We went shopping before and after Ratatouille. There were some good sales!

OK, time to wake up DD.. DH just said he is working through dinner (well, actually he wants greasy chili and I don't) so we're on our own for dinner...hmmm, maybe I should treat myself to a surf and turf dinner at his expense!!

I have none unfortunately. Just sitting here watching TV and going to go make myself a pork roll, egg & cheese muffin sandwich. Pork Roll is a meat you can only get in the NJ area so no, you've never heard of it!

We went to a local park for the free July 4th festival. DD had fun on the pony ride and making some crafts (well, she just played with the parts while we put them together).

Now DH is at work to catch up on some hours he missed earlier this week (so he doesn't have to take vacation) and then we'll do fireworks (boom booms) tonight!

You are so lucky you get to go do such fun things. I would love to go to something and see fireworks too.
