My friend goes into surgery tomorrow at 8 AM.

Are you taking her?

I will keep her in my prayers...

The social worker called me today to discuss being the patient representative. Basically, they will ask me any questions that have to do with her health. They'll call to say how everything went. They'll call to see if I want to pull the plug I guess. It is all so nerve wracking. It's so sad to not have any family.

 

[Parla]

Are you taking her?

I took her on Thursday. Since she lives alone they admitted her then because she really can't take care of herself.

The nurse called me this morning and asked me to please bring her some underwear because she won't admit to me that she needs anything.

 

[Parla]

I called her from her motel room to tell her that the nurse said to bring her some and ask her where the heck it was and she told me not to do it tonight. Forget that, she just doesn't think anything is important.

I took it to her, stopped and got her mail from the UPS Store and then stood there and made her call the insurance company to get her disability claim started.

I get nervous playing skee ball with little kids every since I was a teenager and helped with my niece and nephews at Holiday World. One of them threw the ball straight up and got me right under the chin. It hurt so bad! I get jumpy when I'm around that skee ball game at Chuck E. Cheese.

How heartbreaking...

Well, the brain tumor is very large and it is really affecting her mentally as well as physically. She's really been acting weirder and weirder these last couple of years and now we know why.
