I just noticed that the copyright says 1996. They must have been for Valentine's Day in 1996. But I thought I got him the dog that year! I'm so old and confused.

One of the Cub Scout moms that helps organize something or other keeps sending us emails for outings and stuff (DH is the cubmaster as well as DS's den leader). This weekend she also sent an email that Friday is her dad's 60th birthday and asking people to send him cards. For Pete's sake! He's 60 not 100. I think that's so weird! I've sent cards for kids like that before and for people who were sick (DH's dad got hundreds of birthday cards when he was dying from Leukemia) but never for a 60 year old man.

Now are you calling me out to post my wedding pic. I have one on the wall here. It's an 8x10 so I would have to resize it but it would be easier than digging through my cedar chest for the album.

Sharky, I'm guessing that the similarities here are that neither of us has glasses on in our Glamour Shots or our wedding pics. Am I right?

I wore contact lenses before the kids. In high school I had soft ones. They ended up not working so well. Then when we got married DH and I both had hard ones (we both have astigmatisms). Then those got very annoying and we had mainly wanted them for the wedding and the honeymoon anyway. After we moved to Indianapolis we found a good eye doctor and got Torque lenses (very expensive but made for astigmatisms). I kind of liked those although DH never did get his to fit right. After the kids came it was just too much trouble because your schedule is so up in the air. When you might nap here and there it's not great to wear contacts. I tried a trial pair a while back and they were so itchy reminding me of all the things I hated about contacts so I just decided to stick with the glasses for now.

so I cant find my glam pics... b I have some of cute little kids.. will that do?? they are uploading...

but first let me give you their background... their names are Kaiden and Riley... they are the teacher that lives on my sideyard in her trailer during the school year's grandsons and they were here over christmas becuase their mom is a stupid cracked out............<end rant> and they are now in a foster home.. but they are the BEST!
