I'm getting a bit stressed out about all the work that has to be done yet for this weekend. My parents come tomrrow afternoon (well make that today), then my sister and her family come Thursday night. Friday we go to a concert (Rocknersaurus followed by Hi-Octane and the Texas Chainsaw Horns), Saturday is the party and DH's family comes (although 2 people still haven't told me whether they are coming or not -- how rude!!). Sunday will be a day in the park and they leave on Monday.

I love having my whole family here but it also gets quite chaotic..

Thanks! Yeah, I just like to have things the 'way I expect them' instead of reality (i.e., my house isn't going to be clean and I get embarrassed by that but I know my family is there to see us, not a clean carpet! )

I love having family. I have missed that being down here. It will all come together in spite of all the work and stress. I know you'll have a wonderful time with your family.

How rude that some guests haven't RSVP'd. I hate that, some of the guests at Trentmom's wedding never RSVP'd and I had to call them and then when the said yes they still didn't show up after I paid for them, so angry!

I used to feel that way and finally figured out that by the time all those people get in your house it's gonna get dirty so why stress out now as you'll really have to clean it when they all leave. They only want to see you, DH & DD, not your carpeting! Relax and enjoy them.

- I send invitation but no one from DH's side rsvps
- I call and get 4 yes and 2 I don't hear from at all
- then DSIL calls and says her neice is in town and can she come to the party, too b/c she is only 16 and doesn't want to be by herself
- then DSIL says that her DD would bring her BF, too (even though I never met him nor invited him)
- then I find out neither of them are coming.

I guess good manners just don't exist anymore....

have fun being productive... maybe I should get off my butt and check the mail and start packing.... nah...

i think i figured out my headaches...

I think because I drank alot of soda and coffee before the surgery and I havent had anything but water since that I was/am going thru caffine withdrawls... maybe Ill drop by Starbucks when Im out getting my meds later..

That shouldn't last this long. I've been on Mountain Dew kicks and gone cold turkey and only had the headache last about three days. You should try some Excedrin. They are basically tylenol with caffeine.

Unfortuntely there are too many people who were not brought up right and they have no class. I don't understand how they can not realize how rude that is. It just puzzles me.
