DS loves those noodles...thinks they are big swords....:rotfl2:

Does he play with the noodle we brought him? How about the little plastic sword, does he play with that? I'm sure he's having a blast with all the outdoor stuff we brought him for your yard! :rotfl:

I went back and edited that post now you have to go back and edit yours where you quoted mine as it's in the quote! Sorry for all this trouble honey, I didn't know. Forgive me?

for DGS???

:rotfl:

I think it's too early to shop for DGS because I don't know what he'll be into by Christmas. .He may not want cars or he may want something new that comes out. So I"ll wait on buying for him unless it's something little.Even the winter clothes aren't out yet. Though he's always most important on Santa's list. :santa:

I haven't seen good fireworks since we moved down here. I hope someone has some down where we camp over the holiday. I didn't know DH didn't like the fireworks?:dance3:

Yeah, too loud for him. He wears ear plugs for me so we can watch Wishes together. :goodvibes  :goodvibes

I always loved them, the big beautiful displays and I loved the big booms, the louder the better, lol. I know it's not for everyone but it's nice and sweet how you watch them out of the window where it's quiet and watch for wishes. He must be very loving! :cutie:

Trentmom called and asked me to tell you that DS hijacked the computer :surfweb: and is playing on it. he's tired and whining because he doesn't feel good so she's leaving him do whatever makes him happy right now. She said she'll get back on later and that we need to keep typing and push the pages to see how close we can get to 1400 before Parla gets home tomorrow. :rotfl2:

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

enough money within her control to move out
and rent a place of her own,
even if she never wants to or needs to...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

something perfect to wear if the employer,
or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ..

a youth she's content to leave behind....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

a past juicy enough that she's looking forward to
retelling it in her old age....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .....

a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ..

one friend who always makes her laugh.. and one who lets her cry...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....

a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her
family...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems,
and a recipe for a meal,
that will make her guests feel honored...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

a feeling of control over her destiny...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

how to fall in love without losing herself..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

how to quit a job,
break up with a lover,
and confront a friend without;
ruining the friendship...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

when to try harder... and WHEN TO WALK AWAY...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

that she can't change the length of her calves,
the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

that her childhood may not have been perfect..but it's over...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

what she would and wouldn't do for love or more...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW..

whom she can trust,
whom she can't,
and why she shouldn't take it personally...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

where to go...
be it to her best friend's kitchen table...
or a charming inn in the woods...
when her soul needs soothing...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW..

what she can and can't accomplish in a day...
a month...and a year...

I'm Back!!

DS just fell asleep at the computer....:cool1: :cool1:

I can only stay on for a little longer... I already told Sis I can't play pool with her tonight... :guilty:

Oh okay, well if you have to get off before she gets on she'll understand, she'll miss you but she'll understand!

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.

"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"

God said:

"When I made the woman she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,

yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."
