That was the rumor last year too. Everyone was goin' crazy, thinkin' they were adding lap bars. They didn't. And I doubt they're adding lap bars this time either

No, like people say they saw lap bars actually on the ride during a test run.

Its not really a big deal, but its just its been done on other rides in other theme parks that originally didn't have lap bars and a lot of people then couldn't ride it anymore because they wouldn't fit or it would be uncomfortable.

YOU'VE NEVER RIDDEN SPLASH MOUNTAIN Sorry, but seriously? I've never heard anyone who's gone to WDW or DL that hasn't rode Splash Mountain at least once. Its not really a big deal, but its just its been done on other rides in other theme parks that originally didn't have lap bars and a lot of people then couldn't ride it anymore because they wouldn't fit or it would be uncomfortable.

Nope. I was going to a few times but the first time it ended up being too cold out, the second time I was feeling sick, the third time a storm closed the ride ect.

Don't the bars usually stop once they touch you? That's been my experience.

Well, an canon explanation would be that Malfoy was already a Prefect, and since Snape becomes headmaster, along with the school practically being run by the death eaters, I would be surprised if Malfoy didn't become Head Boy. Then again, that's if the stories are set during this period when the trio are hunting for Horcruxes. Anything else wouldn't make sense.

Splash Mountain isn't a rollercoaster, silly! It's a log ride. Not technically classified as a rollercoaster But the one huge drop, is rollercoaster-like

I would assume so. When everyone's in the Malfoy Manor, it's during Christmas break, then when the trio are after the diadem, Malfoy, Crabbe & Goyle try to stop them. Then again, Malfoy could of been home all the time, and he came up during the battle like all the other Death Eaters. Hmm...

That's odd... I thought there were no Head Boy & Girl before the 7th year. I'm pretty sure they were referred to as Prefects in the 6th book.
