people in the USA going to different states.

Because our states are the size of their countries.
We don't have a gazillion little countries surrounding us. We've got 47 other states nearby. (50, minus our own state, alaska, and hawaii)

i prefer going to different countrie tbh because going to a different state in america is like going to wales or scotland or ireland, as they're still part of the country. and it ALWAYS RAINS in those three places. so people from britain tend to go to the med a lot. i've been to italy twice, france like, 6 times, switzerland, belgium... quite a lot.

But you do not understand. Back when America first became free they called the colonies states, to resemble that each state is run by itself, with the head government over all. Each state has its own laws, we are the UNITED States. And each state is SO different. It's just like a whole bunch of countries united, I guessss
